Has ne1 tried the uniquefire 2180 or UF 2170 26650 kits?
I got the UF-2180....Its a decent light. What do you want to know about it?
i will order the UF-2180 from Manafont. I want to use the well known 2.8 A user defined mode driver from kaidomain in it, set in high-medium-low...
I would like to hear if you measure the tail current, if you like the beam (any beam shot????) and most of all i would like to see some pictures of the driver, and the aluminum base-heatsink to prepare my mod.

I did exactly what you planned to do. The UF2180 works great with the 2.8A driver. added thermal paste to the pull and the body and heat sinking was sufficent. The light ran fine for 1 hour straight last night. The lens is plastic. It thows real well. However i put diffuser film over the lens to convert it to a flood light. Runtime seem excellent. Brightness remain the same even after 1 hour. The host seem a little glossy black. The tail cap current was of course 2.8A. The stock driver is direct drive in High. I measure 5.5A. That was the main reason why I swapp out the driver right away.
Do I like it?....Not really....Don't buy it. I think there are other higher quality 26650 host out there. I suggest you try the 26650 host from cnqualitygoods.
I got it and its a disappointment. The c-88 has a much better body, the 2170 body feels very light, not tough enough. I gave it to my dad, but I'll have to get him a protected battery cus I don't trust the one it came with.
Also, the http://www.cnqualitygoods.com/goods.php?id=1143 body is about the same quality as the 2170, so I definitely don't recommend it, but the http://www.cnqualitygoods.com/goods.php?id=1151 is a freakin monster and I do highly recommend it. The only problem is that it's a 2 26650 body and can't use just one.
Can you measure dimensions of driver which would fit?

Is the reflector on that host 30mm deep? That is the spec on taobao but no specs for the reflector on CNQ.

The issue with the 3x light is usually a floating pill and poor heat sinking. Too bad they don't show a picture of the guts. I have a Uniquefire 3900 and that is exactly the problem with the light.
I have around $70.00 and was thinking of getting the SkyRay King or this, this will be my first 26650 light .......
I would go with the King - lot's of happy campers here with that light (unless you don't like gold
