@Ima4Wheeler - I would not worry. That light shows up in his feedback and the listing does state the middle of March.

There’s nothing wrong with not worrying, it’s probably healthier for you… but you also would not receive a light.

Frankly many of you folks scare me. The feedback history is the thing that should tip you off. Pages and pages of Nitecore chargers sold at the normal prices along with SRK clones sold at the normal prices. One SRK sold at a slightly low price (~$4 below normal)… and then dead silence. No trace of evidence that the seller has ever delivered an 18x plunger light, MT1-U06 phone, SJ4000 action cam, or fire-sale SRK… exactly the items which are currently selling like hot-cakes.

So let’s stop re-assuring people about this ‘deal’ and ideally not discuss it beyond warning people off… since it’s not a deal, it’s a scam.

Still fine, still on a break. One day I’ll catch up with you folks! previous wight catchup Wink

Ultra OK SK68’s were delivered at $2.49 (I got 9), Trustfire TR3-T6’s for 13.99, S5’s for some ridiculous price (2.99?), Jacob A60’s for $9 and on and on.

So, not all killer deals are bogus.
That said, I did not bite on the Plunger, did buy 1 of the SRK’s at 14.99.
If it comes great, if not, Paypal will refund, no pain, no loss.

FWIW I think BLF has some experience with eBay sellers calle "brotherhuang". I don't recall whether the experiences were good or bad overall, but it might be worth searching to try and pin it down. A glance says negative, but I thought the consensus was positive at one point? Like I said, better do some research. If there _was_ going to be a good version of this light, it would quite possibly be the initial batch. Do you folks really want to wait to get onboard with this thing until it's $35?

I actually just recently(this week) had a good experience with ebay seller brotherhuang. I ordered two lights and one of them was defective so they are sending me a new one to replace it. It had problems out of the box But they are making it right.

If wight didn't have me worried about the legitimacy of the deal I would have ordered the $14 SRK and $40 plunger light tonite. please keep us posted on those lights, I'd order at those prices.

I never had an eBay buy go bad that was not resolved. There were some defective products, unshipped, not-as-advertised, and several under-performing Li-ion cells. But all were resolved to my satisfaction.

My latest deal is a supposedly defective Olight M3X Triton on auction for $45 shipped. It worked out of the box (included) and is the best light I own with an awesome reflector.

So I gambled and ordered the SRK and plunger light.

Assumptions, we all make them.  As I have indicated in several threads and post, I don't worry about these transactions.  If it is scam, I just file a dispute with Ebay and they take care of the rest.  Minimal money and time invested.  No worries here.  I was merely replying to indicate that the previous post was not a good sign and added that I still have no activity on the tracking number.  This is information for others to use as they see fit.

Please don't be scared.  We'll get through this.

I have one coming, lucky bid for $46.66

I agree that not all extremely low priced deals are scams. But there are signs to a legit deal and to a scam besides the price. If the seller have sold only items at regular prices, then had a period of inactivity and suddenly comes up with very cheap prices on items he have never sold before and sells them in huge amounts – that’s a clear sign of a scam. And people who fall to it make it profitable. You don’t pay it directly, as you will get refunded by PayPal or eBay. But be sure they won’t suffer the loss, they include in your fees and after all you pay for it.

Congrats Flo.  The light looks different enough that it may be a redesign.  If that is the case, the early ones like the one you will get should be much higher quality due to new tooling and extra care that the first production runs get.  It will be cool if there is extra space in the head.  That would allow modders more options.  Best wishes on it.

I posted this in another thread, but decided to move it here as that thread was about another light.  Not sure if it’s a good deal, but it looks interesting.  5 26650’s, 18 emitters, side switch.  $40.  Doesn’t specify the head diameter and I know nothing about the vendor.  Link in picture.

^ Ha. I have some of those lights.  I had no idea of their true power.

For any that have purchased the 18L2.  The vendor has been pulled.  You don't have to wait for the estimated arrival period to pass.  You can file a dispute now.  Deputydave did and received a refund the next day.  His report is here.

It sure looks like the guy is a scammer. Whoever sent

$$ for the lights , you might as well contact ebay & PP

for your refund.

Is there an easy way to know if those BT-3100s are fake or real? Half the price they are usually from China makes me think fake, but…

I have bought BT-3100 for as low as $22.99 last year and they were genuine, but at $18.49 seems a bit suspicious. What was the shipping costs anyways? The item is out of stock now.

Samsung 43" (Q60A) 4K UHD Smart QLED TV

$324.00

This retails for about $500

It's listed as "used", but it's from a liquidator that usually sells items that are new.

I was actually looking for a cheaper Samsung 43" TV, but this one popped up today.

It's kinda risky because I don't know what version it is.

I hope it's the 2021 version because I ordered one.

I'm going to use it as a computer monitor, though it can be used as a TV as well.

Several people have made an offer, so if you're interested, I think it's best to just to buy it now.
