Does anybody know where I could get a cheap clone of Led Lenser X21? I’m not interested in the build quality, all I want is a zoomable/focusable multi LED flashlight.
X21 uses multiple emitters each with their own reflector-lens TIR optic.
I don’t think there are any clones of it.

There are only 3 brands which use LED Lenser’s reflector-lens optic. (basically single piece engineered optic combining a central aspheric lens, a TIR at the side, and a pocket for the LED to extend into the optic.
The brands are:
LED Lenser
Coast (licensed from LED Lenser)
Poplite
I suspect Poplite may also be licensed from LED Lenser as their prices on LED Lenser clones are comparable to authentic LED Lensers. The one you linked is listed at $180 unit price and that’s if you buy at least 500 of them. Not exactly a budget light.
You could make your own multi-emitter zoom light, but it wouldn’t be an easy mod. If you really want throw in something you mod yourself, it might be better to get a quality single-LED aspheric light like the Jax Z1 and then upgrade the driver and emitter.
Thanks for your answers. Too bad there isn’t a cheap clone available. Led Lenser seems to make quite a good job in keeping there stuff copyrighted.
I’d really like a flashlight which can do both, throw and wide. It’s just a lot of fun, when you’re lighting up the entire area and then focus to a laser which lights up the distance :). I know of all the drawbacks, but the concept Led Lenser uses seems to be quite a good one.
I guess I need to wait until someone comes up with a cheap solution. As the Led market changes quickly and things get old quite fast, I just don’t like the idea to spend a few hundret bucks on a flashlight.
Maybe ask Led Lenser for an retail
