Aleto 1800Lm CREE XM-L T6 LED Mini Flashlight Keychain

Aleto 1800Lm CREE XM-L T6 LED Mini Flashlight Torch pocketable Keychain Lamp Red

As I understand it, this is a Trustfire Mini 01 clone? Does anyone have one of these keychain lights and if so, what is your impression of it?

Looking for something to replace the little Rayovac keychain light I have now. I understand the 1800 lumens is Chinese lumens, what would you expect it to actually produce?

16340 batteries would be a new area for me, I’m assuming they’re the same as CR123?

If so, I see Trustfire 16340 batteries on Ebay for about $5 for two of them.

pcs TrustFire 3.7V 880mAh 16340 Lithium Rechargeable Protective Battery

I have been using TF in 26650 with great success and ordered some 18650 & 14500 in TF as well (and also have Genuine Sanyo 18650’s as well).

Thoughts are welcome

And if you have a similar light I’d like to see a link as well. Many thanks.

Step away from Aleto.

I have 3 lights of that “brand” - none of it has a solid pill and good built quality.

A good 16340 Light and LiIons?

I have this light and the XTAR Meteor - which costs more than double as much. The UniqueFire is A LOT better.
I haven’t even changed the driver - just add some heat transfer paste between pill and case and this light is good to go.

I’m wondering if I should just go with something like the Maglite Solitare LED? Quite a bit brighter than the Rayovac I have on my keychain now and uses a single AAA.

Decided to go ahead and get the Maglite LED Solitare to try out. $13.95 and free shipping on EBay. We’ll see how it does…
