There have been a few good/great deals prior to today. Today, I bought a Tool AA kit and Wuben L50 for some family friends. I tried to buy an Armytek Tiara but their site couldn't identify/ship to a US address (?). So, the deals seem to be ~$20 and up.

I was bored to tears at the in-laws looking for deals all night the last three nights or so and there weren’t a lot of low price deals on 18650 lights. Or the deals went fast (there were a few and I missed most of them).
Sofirn has the SC31 Pro for $22.74 (kit) on the flash sale page now… which is decent for that light. And 18650battery.com has some very decent deals on the Black Friday page (with a free light). I’ve bought a lot from them this year and bought some of the 3350MAH Sanyo 18650s (7A) for $2.99 each. They also have Sony VTC6’s for $3.99 and 50G’s (5k mAh 21700s) for $4.99 I had to have Decent shipping too.

That is actually the S11c sold by Sofirn (and out of stock in China until next month according to Lan at Sofirn). I reviewed the light on Amazon a few weeks ago after Funtanstic loved, hated, then loved it again As he’s a dealer, he has some interesting opinions, but he now says it’s one of the few lights he won’t sell… but will own himself.
I LOVE the S11c as an INDOOR light; which has replaced my Sofirn SP10 as my ENC (Every Night Carry) sitting on my bed stand. Like Anduril, It has a hold- on for moon mode (brighter moon but perfect for the 4am run to the pisser). It doesn’t ramp (like the S11b) does, BUT it does have a great LED in it, simple low, med, high mode, and (also like Anduril)… double click gets you to high, NOT strobe
I have found Anduril to be the go-to UI for most of my nicer lights as of this last year. And my “thumb memory” expects moon mode with a press-hold (and turbo on the double click) and so this little light has the SAME core features I am finding to be THE most useful in Anduril. The IU on the SP10 (edited/corrected 11/28- don’t know where I was getting an “SP15” from?) is just backward with the press- hold for on/off and so no more confusion… AND this S11c has USB C charging!
I actually ordered a few of these after the review (the $9.99 versions at Sofirnlight.com) and this is how I found out they were completely stocked out. But for the instant gratification from Amazon at that Prime price (***with a Sofirn battery, the decent 3k mAh black Sofirn wrapped 18650, and USB C cable)… that really is a decent little zoomer with a great tint using the Samsung LH351D emitter for the price. Magnetic tail cap too!

I got lucky and snagged one of the C3s for the $12 deal. I am concerned about the over-charging problem they are having. Also wondering about the battery (lower capacity, protected- right)? Can you run a flat- top 18650 in it? Maybe not that high a current battery probably?
Ironically mine is on my doorstep as I write this. I’ll get to play with it tomorrow night after 7 hours on the road back home

Did you ever find out where the protected battery is set to? I’d be careful with a high drain battery maybe? But glad to know a flattop fits as I’ll most likely toss an MJ1 in mine and toss the Wuben battery in the fridge for another light, another day.

I measured 4.4A on a 25R, ~1600 lumens plus a proving ground comparison showed me it's between 1500-2000 lumens. The output is consistent on the two units I have/had. As for the overcharging, the indicator light turns green at 4V and I may just have to charge any batteries for it with a separate charger when I can't keep an eye on it.

Out doors the light is very bright and seems to throw further than it should with its wide beam.
Indoors i notice my led is off center. The oddest pattern i’ve seen out of a light so far.
From the outside theres a yellow circle followed by a white square and inside off center of that is the round hotspot.
I’ll probably see what some D-C fix does to it

*got home from TG this evening and just double checked and the battery in my S11c is indeed the better 3000mAh Sofirn. So I am sure it came with that battery (which is a great fit for this light)!

Glad some people got hold of some of these S11c lights this week. For the extra few bucks you are getting a decent 18650, USB C cord, and lanyard in a nicely made light WITH a magnetic tail also- FROM Amazon! -not bad at all guys and gals
I WISH Sofirn would put the better emitter into the S11b (with it’s ramping mode). I’d love a nicer 5k(ish) tint in a little ramping light like this. But the 6.5k XP-L is pretty blue (in the current S11b) and it’s not a light I’d use in a heavy rain storm (or much outdoors) and really… the S11c’s current IU and super emitter really is perfect for my bedside (and any indoor) use. Barry at Sofirn made a good call there, and I’ll buy a few more when they come back into stock (at Sofirn).

Not really an indoor light as it's easier to ignore the TIR(?) artifacts outside. DC fix should be a great solution!
