Claims to have 6 LG cells in there for 26800mAh > 4466mAh/cell.
Can it be opened without destroying the case?

If anyone is looking for some inexpensive 21700 cells, take look at this power bank: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LQQ3CYK It claims “LG 21700 cells”, however, I opened one up and found “DBK” branded cells. I did measure a couple at 1A discharge and got 4642 and 4751mAh, so may be OK. As a power bank it meets its stated capacity of 26800 (which is surprising at this price), however, it does not have QC3.0 or PD charging, 5v 3A max.

Update 1/12/2022: price went up $2 (now $14), still a good deal I think.

This is abnormally heavy power bank as if is filled with lead or iron or rocks Smile To be honest, I have never picked up 10 18650 cells in my hand to get an idea how much this power bank should weigh, but it is heavy like at least a kg? In my previous life I had picked up similar sized laptop batteries and they never felt this heavy.

Question:- Did you find lead plate when you took apart the power bank? Smile

already ripped open both mine. also DBK branded cells. the tabs peel off easier than other packs i’ve pulled apart. the silicone? glue is kind of a pain though, wish they’d used something that peeled off better, I’m going. Ultimately rubs off though.

Thank you for this link! Just received it. I am impressed by it. The included 18650 is of low capacity, like 1800 mAh but the light quality is great, almost rivaling a standard Convoy but this one has built-in microUSB charger for under $10. I ordered 3 more just to give as gifts to family members. The presentation box is good. It includes two spare o-rings. The threads are lubed and I think they are squared but NOT anodized. USB cover cap is quite decent. The tint is decent. Essentially a 3 model light with memory. You can get to blinkies but you really need to double click very quickly which is difficult. I like that in a light!

I am shocked that the price is still under $10. One of the great deal for the money.

Dang I bought two of these to use as is — I recycle a LOT of cells —right now I have over 300 Tesla 21700s — But my Cell Harvesting inner self wants to tear into these cases

Agree it’s on the heavy side. It has 6 21700 cells in it, just weighed mine and it came in at 520gm or 1.15lbs. I think the Li polymer type cells are probably more weight/size efficient, however, I don’t think your going to find one much under 500gm that actually delivers 26800mAh!

From the volume and the weight, I would have guessed it should be able to recharge iPhone 13 pro zillion times; I mean the actual battery inside iPhone must be only 1/20th of this beast of the battery pack alas, it only claims to do 3x for iPhone. Is Apple (or cellphone makers) that much ahead of the battery pack industry?

I bought 6 from Techdirectclub back when they were selling them in lots of 3 for $11.99 shipped. I checked a few months ago and they longer have them in such small quantities.

The ones I got all measured at around 4800 mAH on my Opus 3100.

So, What is the continuous and max discharge capability of these 21700 cells, ball park estimate?

They average around 4800 mah — I got mine when they were $2 a cell ( 1 1/2 yr ago ) — they’re more now

These cells come close to a 40T —- The 40Ts put out a little more at full charge (fet driver light ) The crazy part is — The Tesla cells put out more than the 40T from 3.95v- 3.45v

I’m tempted but there aren’t any reviews for this light. Does Nextorch make decent flashlights? Anyone received this light and care to share your opinion? Does anyone know what kind of driver it comes with?

I just received mine. Very well made. Always starts on high. Lightly press on the switch to go lower. It gets warm immediately, good heat sinking.
In my opinion, a good deal.

Thank you guys! I really considered this but I'm about to install an xhp50, 5K in an S21A with a TIR, that I've had in a Convoy L2. The 'dark' hole is getting to me and the MTN FET driver is too much with two hi drain 26650s.

For metal, digital readout calipers, it looks great. Plus, good reviews.

This is new (to me).

Amazon emailed me and told me that my package with the fish oil was delivered.

But they also included a photo of our front porch with the package!

In the top left area, you can see our garage, and my room takes up half of the garage.

I get a “delivery photo” every time. Can’t recall exactly when it started, but it’s been the better part of a year or so. CYA move for Amazon.

Yeh, when it’s delivered by an Amavan, they do that. (Tracking number “TBA123456”, etc.)

Even keweler, it you know it’s “out for delivery”, and can catch it just before, you (if done in your area) can also see a map and doodad to mark where the Amavan is. If lots of deliveries in your area, also a blurb like “3 stops before you” or however it’s worded.

I first get a message when the driver is “10 stops away.” The map shows the van as a blue dot and updates as it gets closer.

It used to say, “You’re next,” but at some point they reworded it to a less ominous, “You’re the next stop.” Big Smile

During the holiday season the dot changes to Santa’s sleigh. Party

I’ve gotten pictures of delivered packages for several years.

A few weeks ago I was watching the blip, went to my door after the package was delivered and found an empty bubble mailer, you can even see the bubble mailer looks flat in the photo the delivery guy took.

Was supposed to be a civivi knife but I got an empty package, I cant understand how a driver leaves an obviously empty bubble mailer and just goes back to his route. I reported it an got a credit but this was after the civivi sale was over so I cant get a replacemnet at that price unless I pay the higher price then contact them after new one arrives(if it does)to try and explain this mess for a credit.

To me they should have just sent a new one it was stolen amongst their chain of employees not by a porch pirate.

I ordered a Q8 reflector from Sofirn and it spent a looooooooong time in transit. I eventually got an bubble-envelope that was clearly empty, too, ripped on the reverse side and not even carefully sliced or anything. Someone must’ve felt something round and heavy, maybe thought it was a medallion or coins or something, and grabbed it.

By pure sheer stoopit luck, I just happened to be near the door when I heard the beep-beep-beep when the mailman would zap the package upon delivery, so I saw it immediately and chased down the mailman to show him. He asked, “Oh, it’s empty?”, like… duh? So he rebeeped it as refused, and that was the only way I got a resend. Otherwise, it’d just be, “Hey, we’re showing that it’s been delivered”, and I’d be SOL. In fact, my first round of email was exactly that, ‘til the “delivery exception” status showed up, and I included the usps.com link for it.

That’s why to this day, if I know something’s out for delivery, I try to make sure I can catch the mailman when he delivers, or the Amavan as it arrives. Problem is that sometimes I get snailmail at 10-11, other times it’s come as late as 15-16, depending who delivers it.
