Hey All,
I’ve recently discovered that the 32mm copper Noctigon with 4x XP-G footprint fits in an Eagle Eye X6 light. When paired with the Ledil CUTE-3 35mm optics it’s a serious bit of flashlight hardware!
I’m talking about a 3up XP-L that makes over 3300 lumens OTF on a Sony VT C5 cell or equivalent.
Well, lo and behold Intl-Outdoors didn’t find this to be a big seller, perhaps with the advent of the big copper stars available from MAXToch this 32mm Noctigon got overlooked. I originally bought this for the center contact in order to modify a TK-61 using the XP-L. Has anyone else had any dealings with this big star?
I’ve talked to Hank and they are not planning on making any more of these. So if I can find some interest, he will consider a second run.
Anybody interested a Triple 35mm at 3300+ Lumens?
As you can see, this is installed in my BLF Special Edition X6 that, as a sample light, was tested and abused. The Ledil Cute-3 optics fit over the domed XP-L emitters and are available in Soft Spot, and Wide versions…21º vs 42º as I understand it. I’ve got the SS on the light and it’s a big flood of nice light. ( I used XP-L V4 3D emitters) I’ve got a wide version coming to be able to compare the beam profile for a friend that rides mountain bikes.
The purpose here is to determine an interest in this 32mm Noctigon, in order to get Hank to do another run. What do y’all think?
