Oh, probably the engraving, yes - never tried removing that stuff. Others would know better – I’m no pro – just been around long time Smile. I’m sure you could take off the anodizing using O-L recommended methods, specially with the cheaper anodizing most of the lights have.

Yeah right, Lucky sun doesnt sound nice to me Smile Bu the ligt is good realy, i just was that sun stuff removed, but it seems its kinda hard

Get this Maxtoch, best 70$ you’ll ever spend! Other lights need mods to get at that level. Link to mtn

Mxm…you see, i got either Y3 and M24 ( damn you BLF  )
M24 is 68$, but you pay a visit to the customs office too: final ammount is like 90$,considering VAT, TAX …gas too…waiting in there is booring too btw…
Y3 on the other hand can be bought for 25$, and no customs

They use same emitter btw, i think its T5-6 XML 5000K( measured them) , Maxtoch claim its U2 bin, but there isnt any u2 binned emitter at 5000k( they claim it in the review here)
By default M24 is better than y3, but with LD1 driver( or simmilar) + U2 1A dedomed emitter on Cu board Y3 realy shines, and it would cost like…50$ tops this way
Plus its shorter(1 battery version), and will have better driver and better driver features, plus better dedomed emitter, 5000k isnt for dedoming
M24 has way better finnish ofc

And M24 isnt 26650 based, still waiting for HD2010 and the New thrower Olight, will compare them all when they come

Sry Mitko was reffering to “feilox” question.
I think he’s in the US so he dosn’t have any fees except from shipping. The Maxtoch Mission M12 has a single 26650/26700 Battery. Review by TomE
I only suggestet it as feilox didn’t want to do any modding.

I own two Y3 and got some copper mpcbs and 26650 on the way for myself. I’ll boost the stock driver and might change the emitter, haven’t decided that yet. Fun light to play around with. Big Smile

Yeah, i forgot about that….they have also gas for <2$ per a gallon too!

Its a good fl though, btw, moth M24 sniper and Y3 have same weight, Y3 is 10 grams heavier: without the EX tube

I finaly obtained relatively good result with LD1 driver and y3, 4.6 amps at the tail

Tom, how to connect the default driver el button with the LD 1? I have troubles with this

Well, i bought thet HD2010 as tryps advised me….
Took it vs 15$ altogether with some led keychain btw
Good enough reflector, relatively okay host, no damage to the main body, seems steady too

And the driver:

Got nearly( 4.31amps) same result with 25r battery

So….the driver is good to go as it is, i never expected that from a 15$ flashlight
It makes it the best 26650 offer so far, for me at least

Wonder though….low long will it last… that driver seems to be very simmilar to the East 92 i bought from FT last year btw

Nice ! You got lucky there, I received my zt-08 and it does have an aluminum reflector. But it’s to small, so it rattles. Will have to put some mm of copper below the led. Yours will get great with Noctigon and possibly AR lens. (kaidomain still has them)

One of the tricks with the T08 is to loosen up the pill to tighten the fit with the LED/MCPCB. Actually I've done that with a few different lights. Hopefully the down pressure from the reflector will keep the pill having a good electrical and thermal connection. I usually add some good thermal and/or electrical conductive grease on the threads. All the T08 pills I've seen don't thread tight anyway - never cared for that aspect of these lights.
