Yes, that was it. I don’t think they sell them anymore. I do have an Atmel programmer somewhere but it’s just easier to buy a new driver.

IOS has them listed, but I have been getting them from Mountain Electronics.

sorry ,there is no star version LD25

Thanks for clarifying!

Did you ever carry/make a Nanjg 7135 driver that had moonlight low (I think it was 5mA mode) as well as H-M-L? I am trying to find a driver like this but can only find old discussions of it.

if you usually use the moolight mode ,i think LD25 driver is better ,LD25 has no pwm
and of course ,i can make moonlight mode version 7135 driver

It is the name of an existing Nanjg 105c variant. It has a different firmware and uses 380mA 7135 chips. intl-outdoor.com sells it here: http://intl-outdoor.com/qlite-reva-71358-multiple-modes-circuit-board-30...

Note that “4th Star : 5mA – 2% – 25% – 100%”

LD25 may be better, I do not know.

:_( I notice that Ric did not bother posting 17mm pictures, both listings show the 20mm version. Do you have these? If so will you measure the spring for me? Mostly I'm interested in what diameter it is where it sits on the PCB.

The spring diameter is a couple of thou under 1/4''. The pad diameter is around that size or maybe 6mm. its hard to see.

Well, I do not notice the PWM so much on these drivers. But I know others do not like it.
Can you make LD25 driver with moonlight too? How low can the current be for moonlight?

I would like something like <1 lumen – Low (5%) – Medium (30%) – High (100%).

THAT IS AWESOME! Does this mean I can reprogram the driver to have the modes Low, Medium then High instead of high first? Also, does the brightness programming change the output of strobe and SOS as well? Thanks.

I had the same issue and opened a ticket because I always use the stars for switch/offftimecap.

Quote:
Could you please check if sku 1186301 or 1122302 are 105c with the stars on the underside…?
Quote:
We just checked the two items and found they are 105d with no stars on it. Sorry about this issue. They may cannot meet your requirement.

Put mine to good use Smile

Quite nice to have a symmetrical layout on top for stacking and making improved thermal paths. Glad I got a few of these by accident.

Looks like FT updated their listing pictures for the 2-group '105c'. Yet to update the title, description and specs.

I don’t see what the extra three resistor spots are for.

The stars on this version, while functional, are mainly for show. R3/R4/R5 are where you easily bridge each star to GND. A pick-n-place machine or assembly worker can easily place a zero-ohm jumper across those pads.

stars for bridging Silly throw some 000 resistors on the pads, if you look close the star is connected to one side of the resistor pad, the other side is connected to ground

Most definitely odd, but interesting on the new revisions of the 105 *7135 type drivers
