Chinese stores - Who has the fastest order processing time?

Hi everyone, I’d like to hear about your experiences with the Chinese stores in terms of order processing time. In other words, who is the fastest (and slowest) to actually ship orders out of their shipping department? From then on, fast or slow arrival of the package is pretty much out of their control. But many times the longest delay happens right at the Chinese store, before they ever push the package out to the mail system.

Thanks a lot!

Number of days, from ordering to shipping, divided by number of orders, so we get some kind of an index to compare?

That depends on many details

- what do you order (customs)

- when do you order it (christmas, new year in china, …)

- what is the value (the shipping gets slower the lower the price is - my experience. I try to order always for more than 15:money_mouth_face:

- where do you live

  • with which service is it shipped to you

Nobody will be able to say “Shop XX is always faster than shop YY”.
A lot of people have had problems with FastTech - I haven’t had a single problem with them in 10 orders.

I have a new “fastest seller” since a few hours

Bought: 06.12 - received - today, 16.12
http://www.ebay.de/itm/201087638550
Seller ” babykiss-365”

@L4M4: Yep, eBay sellers are usually the fastest to ship orders in my experience.

But again just to be clear, I’m not asking about total shipping time to arrive in your hands. That would be extremely variable as L4M4 mentions. I’m mainly interested in the the sellers’ turnaround times from order received to shipping it out of their shipping department.

Fastest: eBay then Fasttech (also if they mark something as “will be shipped on x.y” that is always true data)
Slowes: aliexpress, GB

That is very hard to find out, for one big reason. Does the seller stock the item, or do they go out and get the item, or have it drop shipped.

Unfortunately, the only way to find out that story, is to have email addresses to reps with every seller and ask each time, because there is no way to know for sure. Sellers advertise that they have lights, but most of the time, they just go buy it from someone else, or have it drop shipped, by paying the people who do have it first and then those people ship.

There is hardly any "24 hour return time" for shipping, with most of the sellers. You have no way to know, unless you know a rep and can email them. Even that takes days, because of the time zone differences. Anyone who says s"o and so ALWAYS ships fast", has just been lucky. Many times sellers will mark as shipped, even though they did not, just to try to appease people like us who expect things to be "the USA way", which is Not the Chinese way, but they basically lie about it, to keep in good graces and blame it on the courier or post office.

Believe me, I know these things from working with reps for years and then getting real answers from managers.

@Sirius
And the sellers that are also on ebay and AliExpress?
Is that like dividing by zero? :stuck_out_tongue:

Like TomTop…

To the topic: I don’t really care about that. It’s always something between 2,5 and 4 weeks for me. I am very pleased (like on christmas) if something is been delivered.

Actually I have that. Once of the advantages of being the BLF admin!

Ah, so most of them drop ship? So they don’t technically have a “shipping department” per se? I kind of suspected that.

I am speaking from experience, most of my ebay purchases are shipped within 3 days and it is not that rare situation that I get “shipped” notification within 24h while on aliexpress shipping in 24h limit is mission impossible, sometimes I wait 9 days even, this is most likely due to difference in ebay/paypal and aliexpress rules of doing business…

Yeah, I think that eBay customers pay pretty close attention to the seller ratings, and the sellers know that most eBay buyers are accustomed to really fast shipping and they will give bad feedback if they don’t ship promptly.

Just had a delivery of a T-Start knife by
Y-start Industrial & trading limited Store No.511035 on AliExpress, ordered on 2nd December delivered by Hong Kong Post and Royal Mail on 16th December. 14 days from China to the U.K.
I regularly get FastTech orders delivered by Swiss Post and Royal Mail in 12 to 18 days, China to U.K.
For anyone living in the U.K. you won’t beat Heinnie Haynes for delivery times - my fastest has been 18 hours!! And that’s just the normal flat rate postage.

I cant believe your still here.

Put simply IOS has been on average the quickest at shipping of the shops that I use regularly.

Don’t forget about the fake tracking numbers some of them give you.

I have ordered from almost, if not all from the online dealers here in BLF.

So far the fastest among them to send me a “shipped” notice was Tmart.

Shipping-out time from Paypal payment to “shipped” notice: less than 8 hours (same working day), however, whether it was actually left in the courier or not, I don’t know.

And yes, as SB pointed out, actual delivery from the courier’s hands to my place is influenced by many factors, and is already out of the hands of the seller.

Me?? Where would I go? :open_mouth:

For me personally it has always been Fasttech. I have always had my orders go out the next day or a few times on the same day. Nothing to say negative about Fasttech.

none of them.

honestly… they all take forever.

I guess it depends on what you’re buying or where you’re buying from. I’d assume that FT stocks most of what they have? That’s why my parts orders all come in one package. Come to think of it, FT posts a photograph of every package they send. I do not think that FT dropships.

eBay sellers are the fastest for me. EDIT: I don’t remember who comes in second. Maybe Solarforce-sales.com or FastTech. I don’t order enough from anywhere to keep close track like some folks do, hopefully we’ll hear from some of our members who keep extensive spreadsheets.

+1 from me!
…and GearBest is also faster than most others.

I’ve ordered from a half dozen different Chinese sellers and I don’t recall any of them taking longer than 48 hours to ship.

I’ve used (I’m pretty sure) every one that advertises on the board, and a couple of more from AliBaba. All but one, who refused to honor a promised $20 rebate, have been completely satisfactory.

The ‘in transit’ time has been lengthy in some cases, but that has no bearing on the sellers. The stuff gets to Vancouver in no time, but Canada Customs takes their sweet time about getting it on the right dog sled to my house.
