ThruNite TN36 - Unboxing and mini video review

hey guys, have been on hiatus for a while but circling back to light reviews again. Here's a quick unboxing and mini review of ThruNite's TN36. Will get to deep dive in the coming weeks.

MSRP as of this video is: $199.95 USD

NOTE: The beam color in most of the vid is NOT that blue, it's due to the custom white-balance set on the camera.

Disclosure: ThruNite TN36 & TN3400 batteries provided by ThruNite for review.

can’t wait for the deep dive! Really excited about this one. Nice range of output. Would have been nice to find one under the Christmas tree.

Lumen/flood monster!

thanks for this video review! this really helped. before watching the video, i thought we would need to double click with light turned on, to access turbo mode.
but it looks like it can be access from off with double click.

so how do we access turbo from on? double clicking as well?

Yes, double click from any more to get turbo

thats good.
but i still wished turbo can still be memorized and not hidden! then it would be a for sure buy for me

could you pretty please rehost some of your old review photos?

That's one bad-boy little flooder! Thanks for the quick breakdown!

You're welcome guys. Since I use warm fluorescent lights as my primary light source while taping, it completely throws off the beam color. I'll have correct beam color in my full review but for now, here's a quick ceiling bounce beam comparo that's reasonably true to what my eyes see (camera WB set manually to 5700K):

L: TN36 (Low) | R: TN30 XM-L2 CW (Level 2)

@MM - yes, will eventually rehost all my pics from old reviews, will take some time though so any particular one you'd like to see first?

I think the MM15 is the real competitor to this one.

none in particular, I just ask because your internal shots show if the pill is integrated into the head, which is sometimes very handy.

Good video. I post a link whit Review of TN36 in spanish flashlight Forum forolinternas.
