Well not exactly new lights. Upgrades to old models. Big jump in brightness.

Ha ha. We must be thinking on the same level. I decided to see what Acebeam is up to and then “bam”. A bunch of new lights. I was looking at the little ec30 in the past. It jumped from 500 lumens to 1200 with an xpl led.

I really want to see that headlamp!

It's the simple things that we take for granted that cost us the most

1000 lumens from a headlamp is pretty much max id say, else it will have a 3 minute stepdown or it should be 200g+ without battery, which wouldn’t be conveniant to carry.

Finaly, proud owner of a Powerex Maha mh c-9000 for my Eneloops:)

With the XHP50? I can’t imagine it being that “average”

I don’t understand your comment. Koyotee didn’t mention average?

I guess I just see 1,000 lumens as par for the course now. I’m holding out for a 2,000 monster headlight.
