IMALENT DDT40 (4980 lumens?! Comes with remote control!)

Man, this IMALENT DDT40 is beastly to say the least.

Pictures taken from IMALENT website.

I hope the lumens claim is accurate and the OLED has a lot of features. It even comes with built-in compass and remote control!

Oh man!!! That thing is gorgeous

Kinda looks like something a stormtrooper would carry

Ok, slightly confused…they say it has 6 emitters, but I only see 4 in the reflectors…

Guaranteed to be outside my budget range though :frowning:

Love this image

It has an extra 2 xpl-s on the sides. Go figure.

Where, are they covered by some tinted plastic or something?

Last photo, it has a tir of some kind

I can’t find four side pics of this light.

Soon we will be able to watch youtube on that screen on the flashlight

Look for it in movies & Sci-Fi shows.

I dislike all IMALENT because of their touch screen design... but I seriously considering this one. 1 more XP-L on the opposite face if I am not wrong.

BG carries it, $239.
IMALENT DDT40, non-aff

I also have a hard time finding the other two XP-L’s…

look like those XP-L inside this white diffuser

That is right. Light covering also almost 360 degree.

I wouldn’t call that “360°” - that’s ~120° times 2

Woah. Thanks for the heads up.

Looks like $240.

Posts #17 & #22 here have a bunch of useful pics: http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?318532-IMALENT-DDT40-5180LM-powerful-flashlight-with-many-outstanding-features

I will be able to tell you just how bright it really is very soon. I have one at home that was just delivered today waiting for me to unbox. I've been looking forward to this one! I love the military look of it not to mention the sweet features it has. Going to be hard to measure the output of the area lighting though. I will have to measure the side lights separately and add them together unless I can just fit the entire light into my IS. :D

Crazy ! I think about springing for the Thrunite TN36 and now this shows up???

5.5” long

Bah…the TN36 is still 2000 lumens brighter out the front.

yea, but i would sacrifice those lumens for all the bells and whistles :stuck_out_tongue:

looking forward to your review! And thanks!

It definitely looks like a Star Wars miniature prop in a good way.

i am working to get a code

and i was told that a unit will be /has been sent out for a review
(not to me :frowning: )
