Picked this up last night at Dick’s for $10. I always look for reviews while I’m at the store looking at a new product and found nothing. I decided to pick it up and so far so good! Curious if anybody else has seen these or tried them.

I had a quick look in this thread Under $10, 1x AA/ AAA/ 10440/ 14500 flashlight reference but didn’t see any that looked like an exact match. Maybe someone with more experience with the cheap 1xAA lights will have more info.

Avg. AA cells holds 1.2V @2Ah, maybe max 1.5V/3Ah for alcaline, that’s 2.4 - 4.5Wh
100 lumens at let’s assume an XMLs 160 lm/W (350mA, highest bin) requires 0.625W/h, which would net you between 3.84 and 7.2h runtime if the boost driver necessary to run an LED at the usual 3V wouldn’t run at <50% efficiency, which obviously at least halves runtime.
In other words, it either puts out <100 lumens or won’t run 4h; especially not on a NiMH rechargeable.
