3 here also. Thanks for posting it up. I'm not sure about the usage limit as I bought mine about 10 minutes ago.

I am quite sure that this is no supfire but an ultra cheap ultrafire…

Hmm, I just bought two for $5.64 shipped. Can't expect much for that price, but I hope they make a decent host.

Thanks for the code torchjunkie, how did you come up with such a good deal, if I may ask?

Looks the same as this one to me.

Can’t quite make out if that pill is threaded or not.

Looks the same as "this one":http://www.fasttech.com/products/1601/10009384/1830200-authentic-supfire... to me. Can't quite make out if that pill is threaded or not.

At least the Fast Tech one says "Authentic" in the title. Undecided

Thanks so much for posting this torchjunkie! I have several extra 18650 rechargeable cells lying around not being used and I actually thought about buying this light for a little over $8.00.

Because of your post, I now have three coming for the same $8.00! Thanks again!

P.S. I don’t care if they are “authentic” or not. If they work, they’re an incredible deal.

The price is surely tempting, but it has no logo and/or inscription, so probably a clone.

Well, we’ll soon see. Wink Even if it is, if it works as advertised, it’ll be a great deal!

They took my $3.
It says “Product Size:L120mm x W20mm x H20mm”. 120 mm. is rather long for a compact 18650 and 20 mm. is only 2 mm. wider than the battery.

That listing in FT include charger & battery but surely most of us prefer just the flashlight.

Wondering how hard they are driven at and if it would be easy enough to upgrade to XML or XM-L2 ???

Any1 have any ideas?

This might fit well? Credit to pilotdog68, “XP-L V6 3A tint for $3.86”

I would assume that it probably won’t be driven very hard. Hopefully the driver can be resistor modded. IMO it would be easier to upgrade the LED to a XPL so that the same centering ring can be used and it will fit without modification.
