Yep I get it! It was more a transcription and assumption error… I didn’t do the math. And had I done it, it still would have been incorrect. My apologies to the rest of humanity who can do simple division.

Hank makes a new light, my bank account is divided, my shelf space is divided, my marriage is divided, the dog house is divided, so with one simple purchase I’m 4X better off. (worse off?)

Hey Dale.. at least your dog will keep you warm.. or maybe your EDC will keep you warm,

either or.. you will be able to use your lights more often now you sleep in the dog`s house.

Working on building shelves in the dog house, might need to do an expansion…

And run power for the Xtar chargers. I don’t mind sharing his water bowl but his food is atrocious! (scratch, scratch, scratch…behind the ears, oh yea, right there…)

reminds me of a ditty I heard on marriage:

marriage doubles your joys
halves your sorrows

and quadruples your expenses!

Ah, that makes sense, thanks for the clarification.

On the 4th, I received notification that the cells I'm using (LG MH1) on this one has shipped and yesterday, my Meteor M43 has shipped as well.  Hopefully they both will end up arriving at around the same time.

I heard that all Australia packages were being re-routed through customs and inspection. Something about contraband? I’ve been notified to expect these shipments to open and go through, playing with marking and forwarding everything of interest.

Since there are so many different models (5 emitter choices + 2 different of body colours) I assume these are being assembled to order. Is it Noctigon or IOS doing the final assembly?

Noctigon IS IOS, Hank is both. His team is assembling them to order.

Edit: Or at least that’s my understanding. I’ve been wrong before. At least a few times today already if you talk to my Wife.

My wife does not have this problem as she married the perfect husband. If any one knows who he is please let me know.

guessing this is on TURBO mode?

still think you should be in ‘film’ in some aspect. This picture evokes a lot of emotion, as do a lot of scenes in your reviews.

I do see a hotspot in the beam, as well as massive flood. Anyone know the degree of the beam? 90? 100? Thanks.

Yep it’s turbo mode. Most of my outdoor night shots are turbo. The amount of light this thing puts out is unreal. Plus it’ll make your hands nice and warm.

Is it just me or are others putting two and two together and thinking the new XPL -HI emitter would best suit this torch? I mean you would not have to change the optic to fit it (I am guessing). And you will get all the lumens you could throw at it 9000? Many this torch should be stopped now and hank and whoever should wait and see what happens with that emitter

The Meteor already has the dedomed XP-L option, and because the leds are run within Cree specs (I hope for an improved out-of-spec performance for the HI), the new led will not perform that much better than dd-XP-L 's. But the tint could be improved with them.

Chibi, Hank pulled the available stock number to 0 while they build these original orders to ship. He was getting overwhelmed and had to freeze it for a minute to get caught up. Wink

I’m tempted by the monster output in a tiny light, but the UI would drive me crazy, so I have no plans of buying this one. That’s good news for my wallet!
