18650 internal resistance questions...

Hello everyone,

Ever since I got my Opus charger that has the Internal Resistance test, I have been wondering about the internal resistance of my 18650’s. My understanding is that the lower the internal resistance, the newer the cell and the more amps it can supply, but what is the IR life cycle of a 18650?

I mean something like this:

Less than IR is better suited for high amp draw, pristine new condition, etc.
Between and _ IR is middle life use in applications where it won’t draw more than amps
More than IR use in low draw applications or just recycle

Does such a table exist? Can we come up with such a table?

Thanks in advance for your help
