How much LUX does an XML2 at 6A produce in a Maglite LED reflector? Or with XPG2 at 4A?

Hi all,
I built a small 1C Mag for my wife and she loves the small Maglite. It has an XPG2 at 3A and does 87K lux with Maglite stock LED reflector in it and a IMR 26500.

Got me thinking and before I purchase dedicated custom drivers from MtNelectronics I wanted to see How much LUX does an XML2 at 6A produce in a Maglite LED reflector? Or with XPG2 at 4A?

I have a stock 2C Mag LED now and some XML2’s on 16mm copper stars. Just curious if its worth ordering the $15 driver or not!!!

I'm pretty interested in the answer as well, I have a 2c or 2d?? mag light I picked up awhile back For cheap missing some parts.

what about xhp50/70's?

I built one with XHP70 recently and with LED Maglite Reflector it focuses ok, but the beam wont produce a nice hotspot for whitewall hunters. I didn’t measure the LUX on it because it honestly wont produce much. My similar MTG2’s produce about 50K lux with DEEP Maglite LED reflector but impressive brute lumens is why the lux is soooo much higher than the 35K stock lux figures.
