Jacob A60 OUT OF STOCK

It seems that Jacob is out of stock… Maybe that factory made new improved model?

DX,GB,AB,DD4 don’t carry them any more.

If anyone has info about possible new model or any info on stores that still carries them would be very helpful.

I found alternative here:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Jacob-A60-Cree-Q5-3-Mode-310LM-White-LED-Flashlight-w-Strap-Black-1-x-18650/1755424796.html

But I will certainly not buy it.

Speaking of small throwers. If this wasn’t so expensive, I’d be all over that. $66.71! WTF Fasttech?

Actually, that’s about the lowest price available. It appears to be a much higher quality light than the usual ****fire suspects.

When I looked recently, the ones on Ali were the only ones available.

Three tomatoes are walking down the street- a poppa tomato, a momma tomato, and a little baby tomato. Baby tomato starts lagging behind. Poppa tomato gets angry, goes over to the baby tomato, and smooches him… and says, Catch up.

Ali express model Is Jing Ge A60 Smile

So if Jin Ge will be same thing as Jacob A60 I will buy few. Please report.

Edit: Guys look at this beast from Jing Ge... It is called Jing Ge A10(Tiablo A10 knockoff) so this could actually be potential Jacob A60 killer:

If someone finds direct link on stores please post in this topic.

Yes you are right, i missed that it said Jing Ge A60 on the pictures.
But in the listing it is called jacob a60, so if it is bad aliexpress buyer protection would apply.

I would think & hope that this new clone of a clone is the new “jacob a60”

Why does the Jing Ge A10 look better they seem to have the same size reflector, or are you referring to that it looks slimmer?

They also have the C20

It looks like wider reflector with same depth as Jacob? Maybe I am wrong. But if it is wider it will be suitable for bigger emitters while A60 for smaller ones.

Edit: Yuck! I hate flashlights(except old Mag) with throat switch... Or I could love them if they have both tail and throat one. But the less electronics they have the less chance something will get broken under heavy recoil of centerfire rifle Smile

It looks a little wider in the pictures but according to the specs both the A60 & T10 have an 55.6mm bezel.

But i hope the specs are wrong & they have cloned the Javelot Wink and if not i hope they do.

And is the reflector aluminium instead of the plastic one used in the Jacob? (this is emotion I admit, plastic reflectors are actually fine)

I was wondering about this. Is there anybody here that has experience with both the Al and plastic reflectored A60s? Is there a noticeable difference in beam intensity or quality? Lumen output? I’m scared of plastic reflectors as my experience with the last three has been awful. I don’t own an A60 and really want one, but if the reflectors are junk now I’ll have to just keep an eye on the FS ads and find an old goodie.

I searched and found a place that appears to sell it. I’ve never bought from them nor heard of them before this search.

When I look pictures it seems that A10 has shorter(but wider) reflector than good old A60?

n10sivern thanks for UF1504 but if you'll manage to find please post us link or 2 for good old Jacob or A10.

Or group buy if you want Smile ?

According to Gearbest the A60 is no longer being produced by anybody they know. The Jing Ge one may just be left overs as I think that company is no longer in business.

I did re-find the forgotten UF-V3. It is similar. I may order one to try out and see. It is another older light like the A60. A little more expensive, but could possibly be a replacement. The head on the V3 is 47mm and the reflector is aluminum.

Thanks for the update n10sivern Smile
To bad the A10 isn’t made anymore.

Hmm maybe we could get a GB going for a Olight Javelot Host going.

Those cost way more as a complete light than i want to spend, when i just are going rip it apart and change the whole light engine anyway.

And in that size so far i don’t think anything beats its potential.

Hey guys, if you take a look at the UF-V3 I posted you will see that the Ultrafire NK10 is a clone of the Uniquefire. I’m pretty sure Uniquefire had theirs first, plus they generally have better quality than Ultrafire’s.
