Toying with the idea of a Beam-widening lens for road biking - the glass lens is 1.650 x .08. Light is XinTD C8 V4 XM-L2 T6
Can anyone direct me one of those lenses that fit this light? Also thinking of just sticking it to the top 3rd or so of the light to give a dual-beam effect… No idea what I’m getting into, but it’s a thought. Other options are just purchase dedicated bike lights, of which BLF has already recommended a few that look good.
Diameter seems not good (39mm instead of 42mm), but the concept nice. Since such lens would widen the light and spread it more there should no hotstpot so should results in an less bright light in appearance, but still for bikes a more soft light with less "tunnel vision" is good.
