This is the high capacity NiMH cells from Amazon (The black cells does also exist in a lower capacity version).

Very good discharge curves with perfect tracking between the two cells.

Thanks a lot for testing the Amazon nimhs, I always was curious about these cells.
Discharge voltages look very promising and indeed comparable with eneloops.

I don’t buy them because they cost here about the same as eneloops but maybe there is sometimes a sale of them…

What am I missing here? Call me a nub, but 2600 mah on a 18650 seems to be the norm even though 3400 is out there (I’ve got a few), but an AA?

The difference is voltage so you get less power (watts) from the AA even if it was supplying the same amperage because of the lower cell voltage. ie P = VI the watthour graphs show this part.
