(sold) TK35UE clone MT-G2 5 mode shelf queen still in bubble wrap and box 18650

(sold) If you look up New-117 (TK35 clone) mod. Turn a TK35 into a TK35UE (Updated with Beamshots 3-jan-2015) I bought two and used one as my guinea pig (that one I am keeping, magic smoke after I shorted the reflector and wire, oops) (now it is a glorious DD flood light  ) the other stayed new, other then when I did install of the MT-G2 emitter and copper star, did the resistor mod just like in the linked build It has only been used to test that all functions work. Plus I added an AR glass lens. Nice light, more floody then the Nitecore P36 If you look up the TK35UE among the more floody lights it is not as floody as the King of Flood MM15 but more floody then most other lights.

I have two of these and (3) P36’s nothing wrong with this but I just dont need (5) 2x18650 flat sided MT-G2 lights.

I have not done the typical addition of copper braid to the springs (it will really benefit from this, doule steel currently).

I am thinking of letting it go at cost plus the emitter, make me an offer if intrested.

I also made sure the rear cap is sealed (made an RTV gasket for it) as the light opens behind the head taking the rear cap off is not needed, this way it is waterproof. if you want to take the rear cap off it will still come off but no guarentees about how it is water tight after that.

Let me know if you need some cells thrown in.

PM me I can take photos but dont have an online photo account so I will send any photos you want via email (but it is the same light as in the linked thread.

Sorry if Im off topic (you get a free bump at least), but you don’t need an account to post images online. Just upload and grab the url.

Damn it! You gave me an idea of where to put my MT-G2 and I can’t find it for sale anywhere.

Emitters are on sale at intl outdoor

I will look into how thoes links work (thanks!)

to answer an off line question

xxx,

It is compleatly working. It has the MT-G2 added + red copper star and it has the resistor mod noted. It also has an after market AR glass lens.

what it does not have finished yet are the springs copper braided.

So it is ready to go but the springs have way too much resistance (stock) and need to be made more efficient by going direct with the copper braid.

The light was 30 ish the emitter like 15 and the star was a couple of bucks.

Labor free, lens free, learning on the first one-free. shipping depends on where you live.
