Saw this on eBay…too good to be true?

Yeap, too good to be true! No way the real Fenix BC30 would go for ~$20.

With free International Expedited Shipping, all that for $20…

I doubt you can get BC30 below $60.

I saw one on ebay, put in an initial bid, ended up in the hospital checked my email and saw it went for $42. in the usa no less. I almost ended up back in the hospital because I missed it.

freeme,

I am in the market for a Fenix BC30.

Do you know where I can get the best price? - I am in the USA.

Thank you,
-Chuck

Isn’t his feedback fake as well?

At Battery junction this past November on black Friday. $69.99 The best legit price I have found, but that was then.

It is excellent for me single track mountain biking.

I was hoping that someone would have a ‘code’ for it?

Thanks,
-Chuck

ebay pulled the item

I had a group buy for this and so few people were interested. Today like 3 people are interested. I can put up a post and see how many would be interested and hope GB can restock it?

I’m interested in a BC30! - NOT the new BC30R

Thanks,
-Chuck

Agree the bc30 is better. No battery pack, lighter and you can use it as a flashlight!

You do realize the BC30R is self contained as well, its the BT30R (C vs T) that has the pack. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes,

The BC30R uses a built-in proprietary battery ‘system’. - That means you CAN NOT carry spare 18650s. - You Must Recharge.

Of course their ‘system’ just contains two18650s, but they are not intended to be removeable, and you Must use the on-board charger:-(

Someone at Fenix has really been smoking the wrong stuff, and will Not be getting my money!

Thanks,

-Chuck

Yeah I made a mistake but then again. I dont want to be limited to batteries that wont be replaceable and usb charging is painfully slow! Chuckov also pointed out the inability to change cells during rides which can happen.

Well IMO the bc30r is more a casual light. Me personally Id like a fully contained light for commuting and normal road use. Of road, I have no desire for a big self contained light. I prefer my small light heads with separate packs that i can stash on the frame. I wont buy fenix lights for trail use ever for the simple fact the bang for buck and shear size. BUt their quality is hard to ignore, so for road use most definately for me. Commuting with it, perfect. USB charging taking forever….man you need a better supply end of that usb set up lol. My car adapter pushes 2.1A, so do most my wall adapters. So unless the internal pcb for the charging is total crap, wont take any longer for usb versus any other charger I own.

Hi tigris. You are right for off road use. I’d prefer something smaller like the yinding or the nitefighter. But I’m nostly road riding at the moment
