Message sent. I found a link bit wasn’t sure if I could post it

Hi thanks for the link! I don’t think you’re restricted from posting those links except indicating whether the link is an affiliate link or not of its for any sales. Thing is your link didn’t provide me with a solution on how to remove the bezel . I have read that thread quite thoroughly but can’t seem to find a solution.

Have you tried using a towel or soft cloth to give some purchase on the bezel itself?
They don’t really like people upgrading their lights it appears.

What kind of bezel does it have? On the Surefire M3 head (crenelated) bezel I would heat the head up with a heat gun and using welding gloves shove it bezel down on to a thick piece of rubber or thick leather or soft wood and turn it with all my might, then I bought a strap wrench. Sometimes it would take several tries before it would break loose. Tried the boiling bag trick too, again sometimes it worked? Smooth bezel with cut outs in them, I would make a pin spanner wrench two pins that would span the cut outs on a flat stock piece of bar steel and tape up the glass and bezel as not too scratch it up badly. A pic would help?

You just need to unscrew it. I’ve opened it before so I’m sure that’s doable.

PlAce the head on a soft towel and turn it, bezel down.

Clockwise or anti-clockwise? I might be tightening it lol

This is the bezel

Anti clockwise

Does the bezel or the flashlight body turn anti-clockwise? :stuck_out_tongue: Hahaha

I mean really! I still can’t get the bezel opened. :frowning:

Looking at the LED, turn the bezel anti clockwise
