great version of Todds song ..only better with age
He produced at least one Hall and Oats album, not to mention the total classic Bad Finger Straight Up. Hey, someone mentioned Dust In The Wind. I bet they never heard the first Dust in the Wind song, written by Moogy Klingman and played by Todd's band on the classic Something/Anything album.
Ram Jam - FTW. Did you know that the lyrics for that are based on an old black prison song? Black Betty was a whip and Bam-ba-lam was the noise it made. I found the lyrics to the folk song in an old folk song collection from the 1930's and that is what they claimed the origin was.

No I didn't know that but that's a cool story though. It's just one of those great songs I listened to back in the late 70's.

"Dust in the Wind"; the most depressing song ever written, with the possible exception of "Honey, I Miss You".
