Hi all, as many of you know, I was the guy who picked up rikr’s entire collection here in MO. It is a bit overwhelming, but I am going to get started…

Step 1 of my plan is to sell all the lights (no batteries) as one big collection. After seeing the whole thing, it would almost be a shame to separate them all. I counted 121 flashlights and 4 headlamps (although I think some of the “flashlights” are lasers…) Anyways, I am still in the process of recording and cataloging everything, but in the meantime I’m just going to post it for sale as one item.

I am starting the price high, but plan to come down if no one snatches it first. I just want to give more people a chance, and I don’t want to get ripped off. Starting at $1600 $1550 $1500 + shipping +Paypal fees. SOLD I will ship anywhere, but I really don’t know how much it will cost. :~ I will also entertain other methods of payment besides paypal.

I am pretty sure there is quite a bit of money here… just trying to figure it out. In the meantime, if you want to save me the headache and time. Post an “I’ll take it.” The first “I’ll take it” in this thread will get it.

You would make more splitting them up and selling them individually over time

$1,600 plus seems like real bargain. A collection like that would cost at least several times that to aquire. Best wishes on a successful endeavor. :)

That's like $11-12 per light! Still a good deal, however you look at it.

What some said, individual selling will make more. But a lot more hassle and time ;)

Looks like

1) Just post a list of lights - Perhaps 10 at a time , sell them individually

2) Open a stall at your local Sunday market

3) Not sure anyone wants that many lights in one hit .

4) Any flashlight meets in your area ?

Just load up all those lights into your car and head to my house. I will sell off the collection in parts, while you play with my lathe. Everybody wins.

That way this year you can enter the Machine category of the made from scratch competition. All these starry eyed fiends get a new light. And I get to cherry pick the pile... See, everyone wins.

In all seriousness, I will keep this in mind.

Just a heads up everyone, selling the whole collection is just Step 1. I know I won’t make as much money, but this will save me a ton of time! Plus someone could honestly start a museum… Stay posted for when/if I decide to split it.
