Battery drain

I have 2x 41-1073 Wireless Motion Ceiling Light 4C-cell lights
Should last 1-2 years on a set of batteries. One of mine lasts about 2 weeks, but otherwise seems normal. Dorcy is sending a replacement so I thought I might fix/mod this one, but I don’t know where the problem is.

The only thing I can tell is there looks to be a crack or some defect in the LED…maybe. It does work normally. It’s not a pretty LED but Dorcy generally makes decent products. The white LED backing is held on to the PCB board by double sided tape, I think. I picked at it a bit but did not make a serious effort to pull it off. I wanted some input on where to go with this before I start destroying things.
I can’t see any obvious problems with the rest of the electrics. What should I be looking for, or testing?

I’ve done a fair amount of soldering so that’s not a problem. I have not done any kind of real modding, just a bit of repair or improvement. Since this is not a regular flashlight I don’t have a good idea of how to proceed. Any help appreciated.

hi

take it to the dorcy guarantee center and just tell them it not work at for example any date in you mind then they hold it from you and give you a new ceiling light if any guarantee sticker with time and date in your light try do it may be you give successful.

Dorchester already agreed to replace it.
I hope someone can help me improve it.
