anyone put to use the foil/sheet inside a liion battery ?

while browsing accorss below thread about 18650 teardown i wanted to konw if someone has found any usefulness to the foils sheets inside this battery ?

can someone shed somelight on the types of sheets ..

i opened one 0v (1660mah decade old panasonic) dead cell carefully.. and extracted 2 sheets

measuring 5.5cm X 52 cm .. one is of pure copper other of aluminum..

was wondering if the copper sheet can be used thermal pad for gpu /cpu / chipset etc ? as copper sheets are sold seperatly for these purposes …
