Which headlamp would you prefer?

I’m considering buying a new headlamp and would like to know what everyone’s preference would be and why. I purchased a Skilhunt H02 for my sister and only had my hands on it for a few minutes and really liked it. I would just like to know other member’s thoughts on the headlamps.

Whats the difference between them? Some lumens, wizard has 7 modes, both have a tail magnet afaik, wizards on/off button is blinking so u can find it in dark, approximately same weight. I had both, i kept the wizard.

How about Zebralight and or Spark lights add thoes two and you maybe have the big 4.

Ohad how about the ACEbeam H10 MT-G2 headlight?

so maybe add three more to your poll

And add some links to these, got to know what I am looking at in a single click… LOL

But seriously, which one has the best head band/securing system? That is for me worth an extra 100 lumens or hour of run time. I got by fine for quite a while on those 3-4 5mm LED Petzel headlamps, didn’t even know they were there as far as comfort went. I would personally go for the lightest headlamp that met my specs for light/run-time. Stuff on your head gets heavy quick.

I’d go for the skilhunt. I have both. I think armytek makes the best, most comfortable headband/silicone holder. Skilhunt is the better value with modding potential. The armytek is sealed up like a vault, so not mod friendly.

For the best of both worlds I’d get a skilhunt and with the money you saved get a armytek headband/silicone holder.

If your never going to mod it and want the best headlight out of the box I’d go with a zebralight because of the better ui.

You are compating headlamps that have very different price points, not counting different UI options (more so since you are taking the “pro” version of the wizard). Are you asking which is the better overall or the better deal?

I have 2 of the H02 in neutral and I am enthusiast of those, but I have no Wizard to compare.

Nitecore HC50

I have the Armytek Wizard. Got the wizard 1200 in neutral. Has great UI and build quality is top notch + it’s light weight. Just a note that you start to feel the weight of an 18650 on your head after some time, although it is manageable and after you use it you wonder why you ever carried a flashlight before. Great for hiking and working in the dark.

i have both…

the wizard is better - but not worth twice the price…

Armytek Wizard Pro. In order to get the H02 to my liking (better color temp and UI) I had to upgrade to a Nichia and a better driver, which added another $15 to the price. You can find the Wizard well under $100 if you are patient and know where to look. I paid about $60 for mine last year. Armytek makes the best headlamp. I wouldn’t pay for than $70 for a Wizard Pro, but I wouldn’t pay more than $30 for a Skilhunt.

Screw headlamps that have reflectors. Bare emitter headlamps are twice as useful. I swapped my Wizard Pro for the Zebralight H602w and couldn’t be happier. It’s easily my most used light.
