There are a few Tactical and Pen Lights that I was looking at.
Any thoughts / advice? These look like a much better deal than the Streamlight.

I agree with marcl. They dont look too bad, asthetically… but the price to performance ratio seems skewed. I would rather put my money into a Nitecore, Streamlight, Pelican, or Convoy light.
I can comment from my experience with one of these lights. I randomly came across the E66 on Amazon one day (it was the very first day it had been listed) and picked it up for about $13.46 just for fun. My impression: although nothing exciting appearance-wise, very well made with a flawless finish and perfect machining. Perfect reflector and a nice bag of spare pieces is included. Don’t like glo gaskets? Swap them with the black ones- nice option… It IS bright, probably very near 500 lumens advertised but not staggeringly so. The big plus I found was that the hotspot was very small for a nondedomed XML light, in fact, it wasn’t much bigger than the hotspot of my Jacob A60. I have a thread on here with pictures regarding the E66 In summary: I would probably pay no more than $20/$25 for that particular model and would suggest a dedome and driver swap to get a little more ooomph”” out of it. I like to have a decent light on hand that runs off of “normal” size batteries. Good luck!
