I don’t really understand the anger over a stray few PMs over the course of a month.
Well, in my case, when I receive A pm, I expect it to be from a GB or something that I am participating in, a great deal, or a reply from something I asked. At least something important.
When I receive a mail notification and I rush to the site to read, only to find out it’s an idiot that can’t read or a joke, that annoys me.
Oh, and your video reviews on youtube? Those I love.
The jokes make them so much better to watch then just 2 boring hands that show the light and tell the specs and such. Although very informative, I like yours way better.

The stock clips seem better this year — last year’s stock clips seemed to slip off the lights I have all too easily.
I bought CNQ clips a while back, to have for this year’s lights. I still like the CNQ clips a little better.
But this year’s CNQ clips came rather dirty-looking, which makes me wonder if they’ll eventually corrode.
Lottery, lottery ….
The ideal ‘clip’ for me is still the very simple — and unavailable — “Preon ring” that came with those lights — just a ring that fits around the threads, with a little tiny tab with a hole in it just big enough to take a split ring.
They came with the Preons in the past. Nicely polished rounded edges, not just punched out of sheet metal, and black enameled or anodized.
Seems like there are some variations in manufacture.

I am extremely sorry guys. I did that as a joke with no intention of irking anyone. I promise this won’t happen again. What I thought would be funny was not well received at all by some members. My most sincere apologies.

Not a perfect solution, but works for me.

No holes in any of the three of my lights. Seems like there are some variations in manufacture.
This batch should be without that hole. I asked for it, but Factory refused to do it.. (probably a tooling issue - or just too costly to manufacture)
That being said, they may have had some spare bodies from some earlier batch. (just assembling them with the Nichia emitter). If you got one with a hole, be happy with it. If not, you got what we ordered.
None of the samples and all of my lights I have opened/checked have had the hole.
As for the FT light being the same, that's mostly correct. However, the switch might be different (more loose, rattling, softer spring). That was one of the changes the factory did for us.
Ordered when code was first provided and received my 5 today. All work well, leds are centered. No hole. Impressed with the quality of machining especially at this price point. Joints are nearly invisible though some are better than others. My first Nichia of this type and I like the tint, color rendition. If it sounds like I’m happy it’s ‘cause I am.
Thanks the, nice job.
Has anyone tried this for extended periods with a 10440 3.7V cell?
I’m using mine with one and it’s super bright. The longest I’ve had it on is about 5 minutes and it gets very warm but not super hot. Gearbest lists it as being able to handle 3.7V 10440 but I’d hate to fry it using one.
1st thing I did was pop in a fully charged efest 10440. Worked perfectly and the heat was very manageable. Your hands make for great heat sinks. Leaving it standing might get a bit hot.
Yeah, that’s the experience I’m having NightSpy. As long as I’m holding it in my hand, it doesn’t get unbearable and I wouldn’t want to set it down with it on using the 10440.
I tried a Energizer lithium cell in it and to me, it’s almost twice as bright using the 10440.

I can confirm that, side by side, the BLF tail button feels nicer, less loose.
I decided to order a few of these as gifts.
I have two nephews ages 4 and 6. Is this light ok for that age?
I’d be gifting it with Energizer Lithium L92 AAA’s and from reading here it just gets a little warm during use with regular primaries.
I’ll also give them tips on not to leave the light running unattended and not point it at anyone’s face.
To me it seems like a decent light for them but any advice from you guys is appreciated!

I see no real dangers with gifting this light using primary cells save for the usual brightness tempting misuse. I’m liking it so much I may fast-ship a few more here for additional Christmas presents.
Thanks SawMaster, I think the single mode will be perfect for them.
I’m curious to the runtime though (haven’t read the whole thread), don’t want them burning through lithium AAAs.
I’ll mention saving battery life and not leaving it on too long… Except for the first day of course, we’re gonna have to ‘play flashlights’ together.
After the said everyone can order, I ordered some
Amazing lights!
Amazing tint!
Arrived quickly, thanks a lot the and gearbest!
These nichias are great and should be in all lights.
With one of cool whites.
Thanks guys!

Bother.
You need more? I bought several Cnq clips but like the stock ones better.

Got mine a couple days ago. Pretty sweet. I'm not a good judge of CRI, but it looks darn good to me.
The outstandingly good news is, nobody replied-all to that in the message system. Good crowd here.

im new, whats the diff between these and the Singfire 348?

Emitter is way better, switch a bit better, and (optional) engraving looks cool.

Compare it to some other lights by shining it on some bare wood, should notice the difference.

Received mine today, and it was definitely worth the wait! I’ll be ordering more as gifts for some friends.
Thanks!
I don’t have a use for more of those clips myself, but anyone who wants something a bit stronger ought to take a look at them.
Prices are 7,14 (blf) and 7,42 now. No we can apply some points =)

Right now, this moment, I wanted to checkout and it silently disappeared from my cart. Upon trying to add it again, it says “Not Available”.
What’s going on?
This is my flashlight collection.
