Battery vampires and bin diving whores

Need some help identifying these cells and seeing if there of any use for them.

Where I work we have AED defibrillators on every floor. Every couple years, they recycle the batteries. These are the ones that were recently recycled. As you can see, they were manufactured in June 2012 and will be expiring at the end of August 2015. They are Li/So2/CI2 chemistry and supposedly have a resting voltage of 3.9V. I don't even know if my charger can charge these.

Anyone knows more about these? Wonder if I can use this in our lights?

They look nice, but I have never hear of them. What size in mm are they? L x D should give an idea for what they can be used for…

:~

Edit

Size 2/3 AA btw

They look like primary lithium-thionyl chloride which are not rechargeable.

They are sized 2/3 AA per the battery.

(14mm diameter; 32mm length)

Looking closer...It says "do not recharge, disassemble, heat above 100C"

I think these are primary lithium batteries. Too bad.

Sorry to waste everyone's time. I do like my thread title though...

Teaches me to not respond to a thread on my phone, I am on the laptop and can clearly see the 2/3AA now… They may not be rechargeable, but they might be good for some Joule thief work…. Look at DBSAR’s 2nd BLF contest winner HERE the blue glow light was going for over a year on two alkaline AA’s…. could be cool…
