In the last 3 days I have been to 3 different Radio Shacks that have survived the bankruptcy proceedings.
At least in my area, CT, these deals are on. Providing there is still stock. Not much to say, just a lot of pictures.

Those Li-ion cells are interesting… I’ve never seen those at a Radio Shack in my area.
I got a set of the 14500’s and charger. I charged them up and tested them for capacity in my Opus. Both came it at 715 mAh as compared to the rated 750. This at a 500 mA draw,
The Olight 14500 I have also rated at 750 mAh only does about 600 mAh
The 26650’s are being tested now. I will report back later
A few stores in my area have closed, I picked up a ton of ICs and components for dirt (easily $150 worth for $10). I also bought out their 18650s and 26650s for $2.50 and $3 each respectively.
Yeah a LOT of that stuff i’ve never seen at a Radioshack. Maybe newer inventory for the ones that remained open? I have to check our local one anyway to see if they still have capacitors anyway. We did get one of those X-mas trees awhile ago though.
These 26650’s tested out even better than they are rated at.
Rated at 3500mAh, they tested at about 3850mAh! This at a 1A draw.

Just got back from ours and grabbed the 26650s to never actually use, and thankfully they still had capacitors so I can fix my monitors.
Oh wow they are STILL having clearances?! 
I went back to get another set of the 26650’s. When I saw they tested out OVER spec I felt I had to get another set for my brother. I missed this deal on the first 2 of 3 stores I visited in the last couple of days because they are not priced right on the rack. This store had them listed for $19.97 but they ring up at $9.97. That’s $5 each.
The first 26650’s I bought were TrustFire, rated at 5000 mAh. Those tested out at only 2000mAh, AND they cost $10 EACH
Today I shot these 2 pictures with my cell phone. Clipped onto my cellphone was one of these cellphone microscopes that I got from Radio Shack. At only 4.47 a real bargain.
The first pic is of an XM-L thaT I had laying around. The dome is all scuffed up from bouncing around in a parts bin unprotected. The picture also shows that. The second is a Nichia 219

I went back to the same RS and got some more cells at even cheaper prices.
The pair of 26650 protected were $5 the pair. That’s just $2.50 per cell. These cells are not bad, rated at 3500mAh, the last time I checked clocked in at 4034 and 3974mAh on the OPUS. I got the last 4 sets.
And the 14500 pair protected with included charger I got for $10 each. These cells do better than the Olight cells that I was already using. These gift well if you also gift an sk68 type light or they already have one. Got the last 3
BTW, RS is ready to deal on any remaining Clearance stock. When I first walked in they remembered me from my last visit in the OP. They were hoping I would buy tthe whole store. 
Those prices I paid were prices that I “suggested” and they accepted. Maybe others can do even better 
I also picked up some good deals today at Radio Shack. 3 pairs of 26650’s for $2.50 per cell, a Canon Elf digital camera for $27, a NIB Kindle Fire HD 6 for $45, and a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 wireless router for $95.
Basically, for every $20 you spend at the local store you get 50% off a clearance item. It was an expensive morning of saving money. :bigsmile:
Damn, did they have any more Elf cameras or Kindle Fire HDs?
These last 2 days I got a ton of other stuff, including digital calipers for $6, 40W Weller soldering iron for $5, solar 2800mAh power banks for $11 etc.
Any thing with a green clearance sticker will go for an ADDITIONAL 50% off the clearance price. Some of this stuff is 10 cents on the dollar!

BTW, the cashier at RS said that earlier today a woman gathered $1400 of clearance items and paid $700. The cashier guessed she walked out with 5K of merchandise.
I bought one of these 2 days ago. I almost didn’t, when i picked it up off the shelf it looked kinda cheap. Well last night I opened it up and tried it out and I was very pleasantly pleased. This little bluetooth speaker really rocks. When at full volume it gives a hand massage.
List price is $24.99 and right now Target has it on sale for $19.95.
Radio Shack previously had it on clearance for $7.97, but now even that price is reduced by another 50% At $4 I took a chance and bought one. Today after finding out how good they perform I went back and bought the whole display :bigsmile:
They come with a micro USB charging cable and contain a small 300mAh Li cell. There is only one speaker, but that’s OK as a unit this small would not have any STEREO separation anyway. The second circular cutout on the front grill is a bass port. Notice the sealant around the edges, no wonder it has good bass reproduction. They claim 3 Hours on a charge, but I doubt that at full volume.
