I have a blue tube sold by Banggood (US warehouse) for the S2+ and it fits and works perfectly on the X2R and the S2+.

I have a second blue tube, also sold by Banggood (CN warehouse) for the S2+ that also works on the S2+ but does not even thread into the X2R.

I have a black S2+ tube directly from Simon, it also does not thread into the X2R.

I now also have a black tube sold by Banggood (CN) as “Eagle eyes 18350” linked earlier in this thread. It threads into the X2R perfectly but does not work correctly. I believe one end is not long enough to reach the contact shelf in the head. Also, the threads on this one are very very shallow, as in the ridges themselves are about half the height of those on the Convoy tubes.

Mine arrived yesterday, I had ordered two of these (maybe I ordered the wrong one?) but neither of them match the threads on any of my Convoy tube lights. Also, even though they are both supposed to be the same SKU, they don’t match. The threads are the same, but the machining is slightly different, and the finishes are much different between the two. One is a nice matte finish while the other has a shiny sheen to the anodizing. Kind of like buying two different 501b hosts from two different vendors…

weird that there is so much variation. Still having issues since the A6 mix ups I guess.

I bought convoy 18350 tube to try on my EE XR2. The front fits but the tail switch part will not screw all the way on…. oh well!

At a minimum, the latest VG10 tailcap legos with the ThruNite TC12 V2.  The tailcap innards swap between the caps too.  Will check for other swappable parts and post some pics.

The Thorfire C8s tail cap legos with the Convoy C8, and the knurling even matches.

ThruNite TN11 tailcap fits a Convoy C8.

HC30 Head, Eagle Eye A6 18350 Tube and HC30 Tailcap. The 18350 Tube came off a EE A6 Shorty that I got from DB. It does not work with the H03 Tailcap. It measures 2“5/8 or 66.675 total length.

Jaxman E2L Head, HC30 18650 body, Jaxman Tailcap.
HC30 and H03 Tailcaps also work but only as twistys.

This mini Headlamp fits better on the Xtar H2 Commander Head Strap.

I think i will use universal pressure switch from BG but it replaces original 16mm switch board.

Convoy S2+ short tube on Sofirn SP32A head and tail (anodized threads upwards and non-anodizing downwards)
&
Sofirn SP32A tube on Convoy S2+ head and tail (works both ways works with the taller threads towards the tail)

Not sure anyone else will find this usefull, but X6 tube can fit in X7 retaining ring threads.

If you feel your Olight SR91 is too long and heavy and/or if you do not like or want to buy a new proprietary battery pack, just screw the head onto the
body of a Thrunite TN31.

Well, you have to modify the head a little (reverse the spring and remove the black plastic cap).
The tailcap switch of the TN31 body will not work anymore but the electronic switch of the SR91 head will.

Mine is being converted to XP-L HI V3 3C which together with the factory Olight driver (close to 7 Amps!) will provide between 450 – 500Kcd of
beautiful NW light.

I just posted this in other thread, but realized it should be posted here too.  The tubes from first generation MT03's fit the MF01.  I haven't tested to see if it works because my MT03 is 4S at the moment.  But other than the O-rings not reaching the head, it looks like it would work fine electronically with no to little modification.  The MT03 doesn't have a battery carrier (Cells load from the tail).  IIRC, the plate on the head side of the tube looks like it would mate up with the MF01 driver without modification.

The head of the Ultrafire WF-502B screws perfectly onto the Revtronic PT20. Clearly the LED is that of the PT20, but the reflector has to be changed with a 26.5×31mm (I did not find it, I made it with a hand-made aluminum cone)

In normal use (about after three meters) the various light rings are not noticed; the modification can still be improved and is easily reversible, unscrew the head of the 502B and replace the one of the PT20

They are compatible.  Swapped in 2S plates to the MT03 and it works with the MF01.  Makes the light much "grabbier" and easy to hold.  Shorter too.  Unfortunately, the MF01 tube does not fit the MT03 due to the shoulder built into the tube.

The JAXMAN 18350 battery tube is a perfect fit for the Sofirn SP31 and SP32A
