Gigging light

A friend of mine wanted to have a gigging light. Specs were 1) Bright 2) Hand held 3) Able to run "all night" on full power 4) Powered by car battery

This is what I came up with:

About 5000lm OTF produced by 7 x XM-L2: 4 with TIR optics for throw, 3 without for some flood (K40t is there to show the scale Smile )

Before anyone asks.. The light went to the friend for testing, so: No beam shots for now, sorry.

Nice. What did you use for a driver?

My gratitude to those who are willing and able to help others (in whatever way you can)! Being human is more than just existing for yourself. Smile
