Can you use a zener mod to allow for 2 x cr123s (6v) for a XPL-HI led (driven at 3amps)?
The Zener mod only allows enough lowered voltage current for the mcu. The led and 7135’s(assuming a nanjg driver) still need to drop the full battery voltage so it would depend on the voltage sag at 3A but I would guess no. Better to use a buck driver for that.
