best hard driven 2x18650 XML FLOOD

anyone have any suggestions for the topic?

looking for a bright floody 2x18650 light when i work under the car and whatnot.

must be driven really well.

I have a pretty good suggestion. I have 2 of these and I like them. May not be as floody as you want but it does flood out but still throws a goood beam.

what kind of current do you pull?

Is this at KD http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=11146

Shallow OP refector with a 90deg beam width.

(Edit............"Sold Out"..bugga)

The XM-L P60 dropins are nice and floody.

i have a bunch of 501b xml's

maybe i should just buy another 3x XML 3800 trustfire?

What happened to your first one? Burn up? Trustfire or Skyray?

nothing works fine. was expecting a little brighter.

do you think there are any 2x 18650 xml lights that will out perform the 3x xml in flood?

Here's a beam shot from the Trustfire XM-L 1600.

I do not know of any budget one that outperforms a 3Xm-L.

Working under the car a 3XM-L is no enough for you?

Yeah srsly, the 3800's are maybe 2000 actual lumens. That's like a 120W light bulb, except with all its light focused on one relatively small spot.

(the diagonal cut off in the foreground occurred because the light was cut off by my ute tray)
