My dad purchased a ATN X-Sight a few months ago to night hunt hogs and coyotes. He likes it, but would like to try a stronger IR emitter. I ordered a couple of UniqueFire UF-1505 to try out as hunting lights, and want to make an IR insert to go in one. Will be ordering the 20mm brass pills from FastTech in the next day or two.
The plan is to get from RMM:
Osram Oslon 850nm IR LED on 20 mm Aluminum star
Qlite driver w/ 3*7135 chips pre-programmed
It'll either be one or two mode set-up. Got to talk to dad and see how he wants it.
Since I know little about IR emitters, I've got no clue what to ask for as a low mode should he want it. Obviously high is going to be 100% but what should low be? 15%? 30%? 50%?
