2 Budget Beer Drinking Video Knife Reviews: Cima M2 and Sanrenmu 7045 (Both under 5 mins!)

Ok, so both of these knives have 2 things in common. Both didn’t have many reviews on the internet and both have bottle openers. I wasn’t sure what they were going to be, but decided to take a chance. Also both were provided by Gear Best for review. There’s a coupon code for each and links… they are non affiliate. Also if anyone wants the Cima they can PM me and it’s theirs. Maybe someone will see this, maybe someone won’t. I’ll post if someone claims it- if shipping is more than $10 bucks though it probably isn’t worth it.

First the Sanrenmu 7045. It’s sharp out of the box, allows you to cut wires and drink beer. I had a bit of fun with this one, I hope you like it. Right now the Sanrenmu is $9.64 with coupon code: GB7045

Next is the Cima M2. It has a different style of beer opener, but still gets you drankin. Cool. You can get it for $8.59 with coupon: CIMAM2GB

cool knives but you can open a beer bottle w/ just about anything… a lighter, a disposable chop stick…
I think I’ve said too much

Don’t I know! I stopped using countertops though, because I’ve shaved off one too many tops of the bottle. What a way to ruin a perfectly good beer. I use a spoon a lot too.

At first it does seem rather queer

Buying knives that can open a beer

Until they have tried it

Your friends may deride it

Once you're drinking it all becomes clear

Thanks for the review , mhanlen

Now go get a haircut and stop drinking that watered-down crap and get some Guinness Extra Stout .

I’m with ya. My father in law asked if I wanted it. I’d never buy the junk personally. My favorite Guinness is the foreign extra, though it’s a bit harder to find. And yes currently my personal grooming is atrocious.

Thanks for the laughs. Darn those pesky brews for making us work to reap the rewards. Costco used to sell the same Guinness tall necks for a great price.

My beer cracker: SRM 766

Nice work.

Is that a glass punch on the end of the Sanrenmu? And is the wire cutter advertised as a wire or seatbelt cutter?

Don’t forget seat belts.

No drinking and driving

It’s advertised as a wire cutter. Yes there’s also a glass punch on the end. I know that it probably is a “seatbelt cutter” but it works well for wires and ropes, and I won’t test it on a seatbelt. Personally I’ve always thought I’d never have one of these nearby or reachable when I actually needed a seat belt cut… And wouldn’t a sharp knife work equally well?

Nice! This one is listed as an SRM and Sanrenmu on the packaging… Looks like a nice blade/drinking device too!

Seatbelt cutters are safer, particularly when the adrenaline is pumping and you’re trying to cut someone out of a crash or rollover that may be in “shock” and not cooperating. It’s not a knife I would buy for such things, particularly since it’s against the law for an individual to import single hand opening knives to Aus, but I was curious.

Makes sense although I hope to never have to use one. And I thought we had some weird knife laws here, sorry to hear that.

I guess you are right. I could hit a bump and spill my beer.

Years ago, I used to ride around with my friend in Northern Michigan and have a road pop or two. My friend was a cop so we never had a problem.

I’ve heard about these roadie sodies… They come from a simpler time I reckon.

mhanlen, I could give a hoot about cheap knives (I like knives, but I think it is all about the steel and thus cheap knives are a non starter) But I digress.

So I don’t give a hoot about cheap knives but I find your reviews always refreshing (almost as much as a beer) So I watched them both. Again fun and thank you.

things were betta back in the days… I was riding in my buddy’s hotrodded 68 Camaro SS minding our own business at triple digits when… haha

One of these days I’ll buy something expensive and beat the crap out of it. I’d like to be able to do this now, but most of the money I invest in the channel, is on behind the camera gear. I was never into cheap knives either, but have come to appreciate some since I’ve been doing them. My goal is to make entertaining videos that are watchable, even if you don’t like the crap I’m reviewing. I had some offers on Reddit for people to send me some better blades for review… I did one, but held off on more. I like being able to really use the blade, and not worry about screwing up someone’s shelf queen.

Anyway thanks, I’m glad you like them! Believe it or not, I spend way more on stuff for my reviews than the paltry amount of cheap crap I get for free.

Mhanleln...Really diggin' the STYLE of your reviews . Congrats. And yes, I watch them even though I may have no intention of buying the item. So, you reached your goal with me for sure. Very entertaining to say the least. Keep up the good work.

Totally agree with the above, so much better than watching a pair of hands! . Now, where’s that beer

Thanks guys that means a lot!
