New 3X xml driver at Manafont

http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/flashlight-component-triple-t6-cree-circuit-board-driver-p-7973

Maybe this will help bring some Skyray lights back into service? 5-mode (Undecided) for $5.80, not too bad.

Yeah! nice find

Is the same driver used in the FandyFire 3xml 5 mode version

But, I dont know about it´s regulation, if it fails soon (as the driver in the skyray), the voltages acepted, the output current etc...

Don't they look like the 3x XML trustfire driver.

I've seen this driver at new arrivals,so what's up with this driver, the buyer has to figure out the specs?

Too bad it's not a 3 mode without the crappy disco modes. I'd replace the one in my Trustfire TR-3T6

You can always get in touch with Jim @ MF asking for the 3 mode driver.

Geeezzz... didn't even specify current...

I hope it's not the same driver as the skyray 818...mine is a pig. 1.76 amps on high. An underachiever.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's not the same driver...

Look like TrustFire X8 Driver

its probaly a 9a driver which is great for sst90

It is only 8.4V, so it is only for the 2 cell Trustfire.

and i was told it will not work with the skyrays

It may work on the SkyRay screw-in versions, but looks like a nogo on their drop-in 3800.

I'd measure clearance between that vertical board, and the LEDs in the head, to be sure. Some more specs. would surely help.

i brought the TrustFire TR-3T6 Triple XM-L T6 it runs cool for long runs and the screw in stays pretty cool all in all its great with heat and after 45 min runs the current stays pritty constant so i should have to worry about frying the driver as it does not climb to 4 + amps like the sky ray from other user reports on this forum, so the TR-3T6 should last longer, its good to know if i do fry the driver i can get a replament for it pretty cheap Triple T6 Cree Circuit Board Driver now only if trustfire made a 3 mode (h,m and low)

i think from this thread we figered out the driver is buck + bost.
