WTB: 365nm emitter or UV flashlight shipped from the US

I’m looking to get a friend an 18650-powered UV light as a gift within the next week. A Jaxman U1 would be ideal, but the only places I know to get one ship from China. A Convoy S2 UV would be good too. I also have a bunch of S3s, so an emitter on 16mm MCPCB would work fine, or a bare emitter I can flow on to an XP or XM compatible MCPCB. I’d like to get a 20mm filter if I get a bare emitter or a light without one too, if possible.

I know mtnelectronics has a UV emitter, but my impression is that unlike most products they carry, it isn’t a great value.

I just happened to be looking around at UV modules and noticed that they are indeed more expensive than XPL/XML modules. Simon charges about $10 more for an UV S2+ than a XM-L2 S2+. M.E.‘s price might be inline with everything else.

Too bad that you procrastinated, you could have ordered this.

Fasttech and Banggood actually have better prices on the Convoy than Gearbest. They’re in line with white Convoys.

The ones from Fasttech and Banggood are not the S2+ with the Nichia UV led.
