Well, seller 1, Powercig is displaying “authorised distributor” in his graphics.
If you’re worried, I’m sure you could drop LG an email and ask if he is indeed an authorised distributor…And if the reply was no, I’d be inclined to ask them who is.
Yes Leif the company in your link “Ecoluxshop” are a genuine supplier.
I have had cells off them & they are recommended over on CPF as a supplier you can trust.
Just to confirm that Torchy on eBay is my 1st Choice, (Jim is a member here), for fast domestic delivery (from Glasgow, Scotland), and he also does real-life Amps on his discharge tests! Very Helpful in offering sound advice to Newbies like me too.
Ecolux have filled in the gaps where Torchy doesn’t stock certain items. Fast delivery and also good products, though testing not as good as Jim’s (Torchy).
Sorry to hijack your thread but with the fact I have one of those Thorfire C8s hopefully going to arrive next week, I’m in need of a decent charger (maybe a hybrid intelligent charger to keep my Eneloops happy - I only have a couple of cheap dumb chargers at present) and either some decent 18650’s or rechargeable CR123’s (am I right the Thorfire will take rechargeable CR123’s?)
I’m hoping to keep my budget relatively low.
Do any of you have any suggestions for UK retailers of these - or maybe a package deal?
I’ve seen eBay has the Xtar VC4 charger from around £20 upwards.
I bought the VC4 from GearBest for about £14 but £20 is very good since you’ll get a better warranty if it arrives faulty. But if it fails within a year, an Ebay seller will probably ignore you. Worldzone refused to honour a 1 year warranty on a torch.
Every one will have their own recommendations on chargers.
If it were me & you just wanted a reliable 4 slot multi chemistry charger you could get a Nitecore D4 from a UK based seller on ebay delivered for £20.
If you wanted a 4 slot multi chemistry charger/analyser & were willing to get one from a Hong Kong/China based seller on ebay, which will take around 3-4 weeks delivery, then I would recommend the Liitokala Engineer 500 delivered for under £20.
I have both & am very happy with them, they are both also available in 2 slot as well for a little less.
If you want to get into charging a little more deeply with regard to NiMH/NiCD AA & AAA”s (eneloops etc) then the Powerex/Maha C9000 is a very good charger & has break-in & refresh modes as well as the ablity to analyse but is a bit dearer at around £50 delivered.
Torchy & Ecoluxshop are the 2 UK suppliers I normally use.
I have bought cells off them for a couple of years now with no problems.
Although not the cheapest suppliers you at least know that you are getting genuine products & not questionable ones like *fire 6000mah 18650”s
