Harvested these from my Dell battery pack that wouldn’t work inside the laptop. Just started charging in a VC2 so I’ll let you guys know how they do after. Just curious if anyone had any info on the cells.
Was it a genuine Dell branded battery pack or a 3rd party pack?
I am not sure it was given to me, but it was an “extended pack” stuck out past the rear of laptop. It never charged correctly.
I had the laptop plugged in for about 24hrs before I decided to scrap the battery for the 18650s but once I harvested they only charge to 750mAh
time for a discharge test.typical generic china cell 2000-2200 mah.my test is at 1a.
that will tell you if they are worth using.
what voltage did they start at?
