I don’t have experience with this particular model, however I own the Ansman Powerline 4 and it works like a charm - despite the fact it is over 13 years old! The quality is extraordinary. It can charge, discharge AA and AAA NIMH.

I bought the 8 plus version and it was a disaster, Amazon replaced it but the second one was even worse, I immediately returned it.
