Test/Review of Nitecore NI18350A 700mAh (Black-yellow)

Nitecore NI18350A 700mAh (Black-yellow)

Official specifications:

  • Battery Capacity (Mfg Rated): 700 mAh
  • Battery Maximum Voltage: 4.2 V
  • Battery Minimum Voltage: 2.75 V
  • Battery Rated Voltage: 3.7 V
  • Maximum continuous Discharge current: 7A

Nitecore do also have a 18350 cell and it is rated for high current, but I could not found it on their website.

Capacity is nearly constant at any load (nice), but the two cells do not track that well at high current.

Conclusion

High current capability is good, capacity is average, but the tracking between the cells is not that good at high current.

Thanks for the great review.

Thank you for the review, hkj  .I’m starting to think there can only be a couple of producers of this size of battery, or am i wrong?

These have similar curves to the trustfire IMR 18350 on the comparator.

How do you know these are nitecore? I dont see any nitecore on the batteries or packaging…

That was a very good question. I bought them from this link: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10001848/1966200-nitecore-imr18350-3-7v-700mah-rechargeable-li-ion

Where they are sold as Nitecore.

But you are correct, they may be fake Nitecore.

From banggood:_ “(The battery do not have ”Nitecore” logo on it any more)“_

So might still be legit nitecore 18350.
