Gearbest is offering the Klarus G30 for $55.35 with free shipping in what they call a “Flash Sale”, so I do not think that they will maintain this low price for long:
The Klarus G30 uses a Cree MT-G2 that purportedly puts out 2450 lumen. This compact flashlight, 5.28 inches long by 1.87 inches in diameter, has a switch on the side and another on the tail cap. It uses three 18650 batteries and there is a battery level indicator. On Amazon they are about $100, but other Chinese sellers are offering them for around $65.
I am not associated in any way with Gearbest or Klarus, other than having just ordered this flashlight from Gearbest.
Mine came in last week. Very nice light. Has a good honest 180 -200m throw with wide spill using fully charged 3500mah KeepPower cells. I could make out a chain link fence that was 200m away. It is a solid heavy light that distributes the heat well.
I like the lockout feature. Any flashlight or headlamp that goes into my pack must have a lockout feature. I have pull too many dead/weak flashlights out of my pack over the years. No more.
I intended this light to be used for recovering game animals at night and I think that it will do that nicely. I wish there were RGB lens filters available for it. If I can't find some that fit I will make some out of PVC pipe and lamp filters. I want to get as close to 415nm as I can to help with finding blood.
I will make a case/holster for it to protect the lens while it is in my pack.
