New or other names for the LumiTact G700 flashlight

The G700, there are several posts and an action all about this light.
However, they just put a new name on it and try to sell it under that name.

If you find an ad please post it here and I will update the OP so we can keep track of this thing.

The Shadowhawk X800 LED may just a new name on an old light, but look at the pic in this ad, it’s now been windtunnel tested to make sure it’s aerodynamic.

I’ve been digging into this myself. Look at the tweets from the “reviewers” and they look like sock puppet twitter accounts.

I got a comment on one of my videos today that said… The Shadowhawk is the best flashlight. DELETE.

Copy paste that to a topic here, BLF comes up high in Google search.

I was showing the G700 advertising to my wife the other day and one of the google suggested searches was “G700 flashlight scam alert”, I am not surprised a name change was needed.

Now that is one thing that I can agree with. If you guys have the time and can list all the names and place them in an OP of a thread - every time someone goes to research the light it will pop up with the link to to that BLF thread.

That is a productive and good use of this forum, unlike some of the other threads that I completely disagree with.

BLF is serving up all these ads, so people are coming here looking to see if it’s a scam and seeing these ads on the bottom of this site!

Using Chromium on Ubuntu and only see the ads on the left and top.
This is not nice, these ads are fed to a page like this, not a lot BLF can do, maybe contact google?
users can click the little cross at the top right corner and get it away, they ask for a reason.

I have to confess I bought one like this about a year ago. I hadn’t bought a flashlight in years and I saw the ad on Facebook (should have known better right there) and I believed the lies. I’m ashamed to admit that I paid $65 for it (it’s probably worth $10)! It came with a couple “clairvoyance” (ultrafire) 18650 garbage cells and a generic plastic POS charger.

The important thing is… I know better now!

Just a heads up, when you guys do the review may want to also include BRIGHTMAX 3000. This is the new name this light is being sold under.

I’ve always seen it called an A-7. it’s an 8$ light . Sorry sgav8r those are some lessons people need to learn the hard way i guess . we all made mistakes when we were noobs . just thank god you have the ability to make real first world fax-pas. If the worst thing to happen to any of us this year is we get latticebritced than good for us . years of telling people what to buy and what not to buy have led me to believe people just need to make their own mistakes…nothing teaches us better than our own experience .

While we were busy driving off the cliffs edge we probably never noticed all the BLF ‘ers yelling ……“Cliff”.. instead we smiled and waved back ..“the names not Cliff it’s Chester “

Another name, the EcoGear FX branded TK120 sold in another $55 kit. Found a link on this “review” besttacticalflashlights.org/ecogear-fx-tactical-bright-led-flashlight-review/ and checked the price on Amazon

The best signature ever.

Has anyone seen the commercials on History channel for the Bell+Howell Taclight. Pitched by some guy named Nick Bolton. A quick google search says he is a “celebrity fitness trainer”. Same tulip shaped zoomie. They boil it in a pot of water, freeze it in a block of ice, run over it with a truck. You can’t hurt it! $60 light for just 19.99. But wait, act now and get a 2nd for just added shipping. Thumbs Up

Don’t forget the Atomic Beam flashlight. It produces an amazing 600 lumens and 5000 lux! There’s also commercials for the Atomic Beam USA claiming components are made in the US.

I bought one of those (branded Thorfire) a couple of years ago, for (can’t remember exactly) less than $ 10.
The build quality is good though.
But it needs a better lens, because the stock lens is rather flat (big focal distance), but with a better lens the head moves to far forward..
It’s in pieces now, maybe i’ll finish the mod some day… Party

There are a lot more names for the thing collected in the earlier threads about it, too.
Search will find them.

If you’re using malware protection the blog search may not work.
Google search like this, specifying the site name:

site:budgetlightforum.com followed by the search terms, for example

https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Abudgetlightforum.com+x700+tactical

Yeah, that’s been mentioned and discussed in one of the previous threads about this.
Notably, Simon’s honest about the light. Remarkable. Tells you and shows you it’s a LatticeBright.

It’s a good pointer to give anyone who’s actually intending to buy one of these things, if they mention that before buying one
(It’ll be sour grapes if they’ve paid more for one from one of the bogus-claim sellers)

Indeed, Simon is honest about it, and it’s a nice possible host for 5 bucks.
Was just surprised to see it as the first thing on Convoy store page.

Yeah when I saw he honesty says LaticeBright I rewarded him by ordering on.
Yes horrible blue light but I have 3 of these and the Simon one is clearly better with a smooth zoom, came with lubed threads.
