WTS/WTT BLF SS/Cu Set With Box#148

I can’t stand having flashlights that I can’t use. I know that they are very much usable but in my CRAZY mind, they are just too beautiful to use. With that being said…I’d like to trade this set for something that I can use. I would like to trade it specifically for a high output light/thrower such as a Nitecore TM16. The sale price is $115 shipped.

For those of us who do not know exactly what these lights are(me), can you tell us? Pricing etcetera…
Thank you!

Numbered sets with a box and without the group buy code are $199.99, with the group buy code they were a little over $90. The X6 is stainless steel with a copper heat sink, has an XP-L HI V2 1A @ around 1400 lumens. It also has a lighted tailcap. The smaller one, the X5, is made of copper with the same led and puts out around 1300 lumens. It runs off of a 14500 battery and has a lighted tailcap as well.

Omg picture size sooo big. I think my phone is injured from trying to view this thread.

I don’t use mine either, not because they’re too pretty, but because they’re too heavy to carry around. However they do look good on the shelf together with the rest of the collection. Also lots of fun to fire up once in a while. Good luck with your sale!

I keep them in the box so they don’t get damaged.

It’s so heavy. And soooooo big.

The original poster needs to come back and use the edit function to adjust the size of those images.

Mine got so small I thought I had an innie.

I have a nitecore p36 up for trade, plus cash. If not interested in that, we can work something out with cash. I was really disappointed when I saw I missed a chance to get this set. What’s the color temp of the leds?

I fully understand how u feel, I will never use mine either. But I won’t ever sell them….

Is this a trick question?

You send me that set + $50, I’ll send you a new never used (except to test) TM16. Is that a ding on the X5 cooling fins? 3rd pict.

US only trade. Won’t deal with international shipping

Wait, so people aren’t using these???

I think this set ( I have two of them now) is more a show off, maybe take them out of the box once in a while and turn them on. But their home is their box.
They are the best lights I have, but they are heavy, and it’s really easy to get dent in the cobber.
I have ordered some Aluminum sets to daily use, they have all the same features, but is made in Al, not SS/cu. They can you get for $50/set with code from GB that is free for everybody.

Mine have as yet to see a battery installed in them. Maybe they never will?

Yes it is, many of the X5s are like that. Also, I can get a brand new TM16 for $103 so I’ll pass.

Y’all can do what you want, obviously, but my set is getting used. I’ve had a hard time putting the little copper X5 down since I got it.

I’m in the same boat, awesome lights. I don’t think they’re too heavy, they feel right. People are just used to super light aluminum flashlights.

OP are you in UK ?
