Et voilà, the french translation (PDF) is officialy available for public release, now crossing my fingers to meet Sofirn Batch#2 printing schedule.

Thanks to the original writers of the manual, and thanks again to all of you who dared to risk your lifes answering me in the last pages.

Please consult the linked PDF directly (that should also be soon available from the usual shared repository), as I did not regenerate PNG extracts this time, and feel free to propose suggestion and correction.

For next international updates of the LT1 operation manual, I'd like to propose to factor in some info about some physical aspects. Like the metal support ring and standard tripod holes.

Rise and Shine my precious...

FYI I will be posting status updates, etc in status update thread . You may find it easier to see what is happening there rather than here.

That thread is only for status updates, issues, etc so hopefully we can keep things to that.

Thanks

Perhaps you should update the first post to include the fact that this forum has a “Click to Subscribe” button in a big, obnoxious font.
At that rate the thread is a mess..

@SIGShooter I’m currently on the list for 3 units. Please add 5 for a total of 8. Everybody is getting lanterns for Christmas.

Why does it have a “T” in the switch on the Amazon product image?

What an earth does that stand for?

That’s the Thorfire button, I guess they reused an old 3D model button for that picture.

I think they have a huge box with a gazillion of them, way back in 2015 someone must have made a writing error and ordered 100 times too many and they are still using them up on every new flashlight model Party

+1 for total 2x

More than likely I do not need another one but just in case I do and especially if the code is not generic..

I was down for one, but would like to add one more for a total of 2.

Thanks, just keeping track of orders must be a nightmare.

Haha, surely they’re not using that? It would be like Olight putting 47s logos on their lights.

Unless they rename the light to Tentlight LT1 or something Big Smile

Interesting that 600lm is now the offical number, as fas as I remember that was only an educated guess and the real brightness of the production model was never tested.

And why are they using the forum pictures on Amazon? They don’t look very professional and some of them aren’t even showing the final version!

3. The grammar in this question is hard for me to understand. I think the answer is that's the way ToyKeeper programmed it. You can never change the level wanting to default to at (smooth ramp) or near as possible (stepped ramp). You can change the bottom and top of the ramps independently for each ramp type, and the number of steps for the stepped ramp, but not the default level at which the lantern will turn on with a single click after the battery is replaced. Once the user changes the factory defaults, they can be reset, but I don't think that got put in the manual as to how, at least I didn't find it at glance right now.

Sorry, maybe I'm really confused and missed this point, but this is referencing the default brightness at turn on after battery reset? Because isn't that programmable now? I thought TK added 5 clicks from on to set current ramp level to default power on level, regardless of what level you were at when you turned it off. And then another 5 clicks from on, sets it back to her default from battery reset, and memory mode when you use the button to turn it on and off?

At the risk of seeming like jumping on the increasingly large bandwagon, can I please be added to the list for two more – I think that’s a total of 8 lanterns.

Merci beaucoup! I have put a copy of that file onto the public sharepoint. So, now we have English, French and German in one shared folder, see link in the OP.

I'm going to forward it to Sofirn tomorrow. If all works out we get to see the multilingual [EN/FR/DE] manual with batch #2.

I bet you are correct. I don’t have that feature on my D4, not sure if my Q8 does or not. But there is a reference to it in the picture. However, there is no description in that text. I guess for now that can be considered an “expert user” feature.

Fair enough haha. Yeah the feature in thinking of, if it's the same one bring discussed, was officially released by TK in June. So if you haven't compiled since then, then you wouldn't have it. That's also when she added momentary strobe modes, super cool

If you could add me for another 2 lanterns please? (total should be 4 then) Just because it seems this will be a 1x use code for 1 light each from my understanding.

will there be a possibility to pay with paypal? also I would like to be moved downward the list. From nr 300 something to nr 500 something. I’d rather have a 2nd batch light.
