All due respect, but it looks like a solution to a non-problem

I think I’ve experimented with reflection behind my LT1 and haven’t noticed a big difference in the illumination in the area where the reflected light would go. What’s your experience with this device? Too bad he didn’t do a better job applying the reflective tape.

The tape doesn’t bother me at all and doesn’t noticeably change anything, but i can always change it out if needed at some point.

I use my LT1 a lot for night time reading and from what I can see, it allows me to use a lower output than normal, and prevents “wasted light.”

Honestly (and it’s still daytime here so I haven’t been able to thoroughly test), it seems way more efficient to use, if I don’t need 360 degree light.

I like the idea, do you mind asking how much it cost?

I bought a “blemished” version for $5 + shipping, so maybe $15 all in.

He is selling black for $25 shipped and glow-in-the-dark for $30 shipped.

Looks like a good way to walk around using the LT1 as an area light as well. Anyone that has ever watched a movie where they hold a 360 degree lantern up to see better should understand the fallacy of this, it puts as much light back in your face as you are getting from elevating the light… Facepalm

Disappointed. Just got a message saying they cannot supply the orange lanterns.
The wait continues.

Just happened to be buying 2 LT1s for someone else and noticed the orange. Site let me order but quickly got an update from Sofirn that there’s no stock. The person answering messages didn’t know when colored lanterns would again be available.

Yup. Same here. Took them 2 days to message me, but sadly, no more orange.

I was using my lantern in my RV this past weekend and noticed something new that I can’t seem to find any reference to. My switch LED was flashing slowly in an orange color. What does this mean?

You can set the indicator lights to high, low, flashing, or off. Seven clicks to change mode while not locked out, three clicks while locked out.

Ah, okay, I see that now on the instruction sheet. I must have inadvertently changed it to flashing while locking/unlocking (which I do all the time). Thanks!

Hi! Did some search about flashing the lt1 in this thread and few others… Last info about that dated in 2019. Would like to know if someone achieve to flash anduril 2? I already flashed my D4V2 and KR1 with it and now using two different anduril version makes everything complicated for nothing… I’ve read that we need different programming kit than the D4V2 one… Last info found is we need to buy the HQ lexel progkey and build it yourself wich I don’t have the knowledge and equipment for… I’d like to buy a kit ready to use… Anyone have info where I can find that?

The lantern can also be reflashed with a SOIC8 clip… which is much easier to obtain.

Otherwise, yes, it can run Anduril 2. I’m using it on mine.

Sad to hear, hope they can still build the Olive green, FDE, and bare aluminum models still.

I am still holding my breathe for olive green or something close.

I have not been on here for a long time.
Are there any accessory kits available or at least a reflector to block the back facing light?

Can someone help me out? I bought a new one of these, has Rev 5 board. I was going to bridge 6,7 pads but noticed none of my pads were bridged and from looking around it looks like all rev 5 pads are not bridged. Can anyone shed some light? I thought 4 and 5 were always bridged from the factory. Was v5 changed?

4 and 5 are now bridged with 0 ohm resistors rather than being soldered.

So if I want to bridge 6 and 7 I can still do so and it will work the same as it did before?

Another question, does anyone know why it recommends not running it on high if only off USB (no batteries connected)?

Most up-to-date build of Anduril 1 is already installed on the LT1?

Good point. I’ll only flash it if there’s some bug that was fixed for a feature that I’d use. Beer
